I thought the CPC stuff was only if driving was your main line of work eg. haulier? And I thought tachos were only needed if your travelling more than 30 miles from base?

Im currently using an 3.5 ton Iveco double cab tipper which weighs around 3300kg empty! Ive been thinking about doing the lgv license (passed my test after Jan 97) so I can get a 7.5 ton truck but theres a few things I need clarified first. Do I need CPC training/license? Do I need a tacho? What about this 6 weekly inspections ive heard of? Many thanks.

£60-£80 depending on location. One hour with 2 men, a step ladder, a stihl HS81T and a long reach hedge trimmer for the top. Collect 95% of the clippings then blow the rest back under. Easy.

That's not a woodland, that's a row of small conifers growing alongside a field (judging by the pic). I doubt there would be enough there to justify 'buying' them let alone felling them for free.

At least you didn't drop it. I only had my 201t a few weeks when I dropped it out of a tall silver birch. I completely smashed the handle.

I just mix it in with other hardwoods it burns fine.

Cupressus macrocarpa (Monterey Cypress) is a species native to the Central Coast of California it is very rare and hard to find in the UK. that's odd I seem to get plenty of it.

Just interested to know how much you guys sell your composted (not fresh) woodchip for? I sell it at £15 per cubic metre.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ABBEY PRO! I ordered some new chains and a few other bits and pieces totalling about £100 about a year ago and I still havn't received them! Ive been on the phone with them numerous times but everytime I call I have to deal with another person. Ive basically given up now. Their customer service is appauling.
