  2. I do about 260 miles then fill the tank which costs between £60 and £70 quid. the tank is Iveco but not sure what model, if you buy one make sure it comes with the straps / bracket and filler cap.
  3. Its not belts if the cutter head stalls, the belts would slip first. Power im thinking the throttle lever has slipped or slips and allows the revs to drop. does the throtle cam hit the stop when you throttle up ?
  4. A few pics of the higher slung diesel tank I put on the iveco a few years back. The original one kept bottoming out and pushing the sender skyward so I bought this one second hand and bolted it higher up the chassis. it took a couple of hours and cost about £100 all in

  7. Never got even close to either cutting rope, clothing, or flesh with a chainsaw as for silkys I have nicked my hands on many occasions, the worst was topping a hedge I just ripped my blouse in a Nacho Libre fashion, tied the wobbly bits back together and cracked on

  11. Hit one of the security posts at the yard and broke the locking mechanism. I rang the manufacturer up but they could only supply me with a complete post I stripped the post and couldnt believe the poor quality of the components so decided to get a mate to machine up the broken piece of die cast in stainless, well chuffed with the result Definetly not a bodge but a way around the problem and a saving on buying new
