  1. Id like to take the credit for the idea but it was a mate of mine that asked if he tied a piece of freshly buttered toast to a cats back and the cat fell out of a tree would it land on its feet or would the butter end up dirty,
  2. What I want to know is...... if you put butter on one side of a chainsaw and not the other and dropped it from a tree would it land butter side down

  7. A good mate of mine worked on trawlers in the north sea He is a dab hand with ropes pulleys winches ect and it was when working with him that he suggested that a knife is an essential item to have at close reach.

  14. Bought a set of road tyres from the friday add 3 years ago for £40 and plonked them on the SJ I could run slicks on the old girl and still go places a land rover would get stuck
  15. I hope they are ok as I have paid the deposit for a stovax 7 and liner to be fitted, with a bit of luck it should be in and burning with in a couple of weeks
  16. Always have a method of cutting the rope with in arms reach of any lowering device IMO

  18. A up shane I think Paul Abbot of Specialist Arboricultural Services did a vehicle with a chipper mounted on it, not sure if it was a landrover though.

  22. I want a pair of those spikes I would have thought the stays take the pressure and twist off your ankles and probably just fold back so you can walk in them
  23. None of the formulas will work only experience will give you a rough idea as you can allow for at least some of the variables that effect growth IMO For example do the formulas work for bonsia ?
