  1. This is the largest we have delivered so far.
  2. If you want to stay dry and warm.... Immersion suit My brother got me one as a bit of a joke, but actually, if I'm out in winter repairing a machine its absolutely awesome! Of course completely impossible for any level of active work, apart from restricting your movement you would rapidly overheat!
  3. I have been told that we now have ourselves a facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/RikoUK We will be using it to update you on any new products, and other ongoings here at Riko. (Well, I wont be because I dont use facebook, but Calum and Nic will!) Please feel free to take a look!
  4. Last week for 1 week only! Now I have to play catch up! Yes, I remember you saying, thats pretty poor really! They would have been better off just doing nothing, because you still had to free the breaks off anyway! To be fair, once its sorted it should be a very good tractor. We'll give it a look through once its back together to try and make sure you don't get any more nasty surprises!
  5. Its sounding a bit more promising now! I think Stephen has just emailed you.
  6. I rate the halfords advanced stuff too, and if something breaks is dead asy to get a replacement. 170 piece set The 170 piece set if 50% off at the moment, but they always have atleast one of them on offer.
  7. FYI, my problem turned out to be the seals in the injection pump. We removed and rebuilt it ourselves, turned out not to be a difficult job
  8. Hi Beau, I use the spiral stuff on the following link on my digger. Its very tough! Ebay
  9. I have the 360 (so the one down from the 410) and certainly have not found it lacking in power, so the 410 should be a beast!
  10. Holiday? Nah, I'm just looking out of a cab window this week rather than an office window!
  11. Today in this lovely 'clean' field. A complete car axle! Topper needed a new set of blades anyway!
  12. It would be a little unfair that people get a concession on stand prices just because they are selling used machinery? Should someone selling cheaper machinery pay less for a stand than someone selling expensive machinery? I would expect that all the stand space is long sold now, the first site meeting to book plots is I think 2 years in advance of the show.
  13. I believe that is an advisory? Not a legal requirement?
  14. Hi Johny, what mods and updates are due? Mines nearly on its 12k service (5 months old). So far (touch wood) mine has been faultless. I was the biggest sceptic having always had landrovers, but so far I have not had the landrover back out (I kept it in case).
  15. Tacho yes, but CPC no for B+E. Only for C1 upwards. I would be interested to see evidence to the contrary if I am wrong!
  16. Well done, enjoy!
  17. Deal agreed already!
  18. We are looking for a new person to join us at Riko, initially to help with yard work, packing and palleting and managing the warehouse. As part of a small team this will also, in time, stretch to other work, possibly including driving, fabrication and mechanics. Mechanical and welding ability would be a plus, as would a clean driving licence, especially with +E or hgv categories. Therefore we are looking for a hardworking person, who is a competant forklift driver, with good communication skills and the ability to work using their initiative. The work can be quite varied and fast paced, so someone who is a keen worker and a quick learner is essential. This is based at our yard near Bordon, Hampshire. Full time, 8am-5pm, 5 days a week. Send cv to [email protected] or drop me a PM for more info
  19. Its very rare we come across good used Alpine tractors, and even more rare with a loader fitted. The TN series Carraros are excellent forestry tractors. 50HP and still in a small light package. This one has come from a private house, only 450 hours on the clock. The owner has just upgraded to a larger one with cab. I picked this up at the weekend, we havent had it in the workshop yet, or even washed it, but I wanted to offer it up here as I dont think it will be with us long!
  20. Sorry for the delay. Yes and yes to answer your questions!
  21. Hi Beau, I think that maybe the towball is too low for your trailer. If you put the trailer sat level when loaded next to the ball of your loaded truck does it come out higher up? I put a ball/pin combi hitch on mine so the ball sits higher and no problems. I have done 500 miles towing with mine this weekend. No breakdowns and I'm not crippled and deaf, so a definite improvement over the landrover!
  22. Well I had 3.5 tons behind mine tonight. Towed it like a dream. Very relieved! Have towed various weights over the last week and not had any issues. So much more comfortable than the landrover! The more I use it the more pleased I am with it, I think it was a case of getting used to it more than anything.
  23. Its gone to a private estate where it will be used for light forestry, in conjunction with a trailer on the back it will move a surprising amount of timber! Also, with grass tyres and a clamshell bucket there are countless uses in the gardens. Here is a link to some information, with links for brochure and technical data. There are more models than are listed on that page Transporters That one in the pictures has a 3 way tipper fitted! Pricewise, £22k+vat upwards really depending on spec.
  24. This is the first of these little units we have supplied in this country, went and delivered it yesterday, and what a tool it is! I can see lots of use for these in small forestry applications and also groundscare.
  25. I can offer what you need. We can do with or without crane no problems (though all trailers come with crane mounting). A decent spec 10 ton trailer with no crane comes in at about £6k+vat If you want something different to a standard trailer we can build custom trailers, but they cost a bit more.
