Everyone up our way is tight as crabs buttocks Also massive level of unemployment,add in a few old guys wanting to top up there pension selling logs for peanuts and it equals a grim profit for us sadly.I'd love to live of firewood tho I enjoy logging and splitting

Location dependant I feel,I doubt every firewood merchant togeher up here even made that kind of turn over haha.if I had to live of My year round log sales I'd be dead of starvation by now or living like a hobo.And our familys been doing it since 30's lol

Until last year I split everything by hand,All I've gt now is two mangled hands and worst case tennis elbow ever in my right arm.That was doing it 7 days a week all year.As much as we like to think we are invincible we are not. If want to stay in the game for a length of time I'd stick to using machines,as all the days off with sore joints means youdont save any cash anyway doing it by hand lol

It's just a quick fix up to get it thru the mot the rest of bulkhead isn't to shabby,just going to hammer the old girl as is ten when save up for galvo chassis ill throw new bulkhead in her.I'll keep updates coming if folks are interested.

Hello,if anybody requires an extremely hard working human shire horse/Groundie/Feller then i am available for immediate start. i have my own saws and all accompanying ppe,i have cs30/31 and am confident with a saw i have been using them since a child.In the workshop i am very practically minded and i am a fully qualified mechanic so even possibility of fleet maintenance or onsite repairs in emergencies, as far as maintenance of saws goes i can strip and rebuild a saw confidently as well as sharpen well. shrug form could be off slightly perhaps as it's alot of downward pull on shoulder structure.But defo throw in some rotator cuff work,I made mistake of neglecting those small inner shoulder muscles and suffered rupture in right shoulder 2 year back. Thumbs up on deadlift and bench numbers tho. Another tip if doing alot of overhead pressing make sure to have at least 48 hours between any bench work and shoulder work,that is if your not already should help keeps shoulders healthier in long run

Get inflamation down first ice packs at least three times a day and pop some ibuprofen.Once inflamation has died down and normal range of motion is restored then strengthen your rotator cuff muscles and upper back muscles.All exercises will be on YouTube to help instruct you.Could be a muscular imbalance aswell between pushing muscles an pulling,if you climb alot that could be a contributing towards your pulling muscles being Stronger than your pushing ones I'd advise a trip to good physio aswell pref a sport therapist who deals with active people,as usually alot of scar tissue can build up in shoulder with repeat dislocations

Not many round my area that will pay over 60 a day.Had as low as 30 offered and as high as 120 with my own gear on a two man job.In the end the average pay round my neck is 52quid a day and that's using our own PPE.Isnt worth doing anymore
