  1. Howdy my helpful online amigo's measured them today and they came out 45.5 long 38 wide 36 deep measured in inches as ony tape had to hand maths I could never grasp,Always got frustrated and angry with it and sadly my mind wandered in class, usually Ended up day dreaming of tractors and saws lol
  2. Firewoods being going well however for love of god I can't shift kindling to folk round here.I'm just running out of decent dry storeage at present.
  3. take pride in being a smart arse bud?
  4. At 6ft 5 and built like a tank I fit in my series 2 comfier than I do my l200.Hiluxs feel flimsy frames bend for fun.For my previous employer we were travelling 200miles daily in a 130 crewcab with four of us in and I still wasn't that uncomfy compared to the navarra, that thing hurts my hips and knees. My l200 is plauged with electric troubles and as said parts are really not cheap. The land rovers always feel alot more solid than any jap stuff I've had.our series 2 hasn't had a rebuild and it's still Got factory original lump,I've plowed thru 3 engines and boxes in the l200.
  5. Your a star man rupe cheers.I'll get them measured tmoz.I'd hate to not use them as they season everythhing really nicely and with them fding flat they take up hardly any space when empty.
  6. i think they are euro pallets now you mention it.It confirmed my fears that ive been giving away too much wood.the sides all separate from each other there is three collars to make the boxes i have there, i think if i take a layer off it makes it too small.Ill measure the sides tmoz for you. Thanks for the help so far guys i feel an absolute numpty having to ask these questions
  7. its hard to put into words i admit lol sorry for my waffling.Honestly when i say maths isnt a strong point i am not lying i flunked maths class big time.Well they certainly dont measure 1mx1mx1m.if it makes it easier how many inches high wide and deep should the boxes measure ?
  8. To be honest ive heard this so many times from so many folk, but i see nothing wrong with land rovers apart from my old discovery had rot issues and ate disks and pads when towing big weights daily. The series 2 isnt exactly refined however it is an absolute workhorse, parts cost zilch insurance is peanuts i dont pay road tax and if looked after it will never go wrong. However my old l200 is a nail parts aint cheap and my dads navarra is a sack of absolute shiz apart from its got alot of grunt. Now i will admit that every td5 owner ive met has moaned about reliability issues.stay old i say haha
  9. hi guys i have tried searching on here but i cant seem to find the exact answer i require, what is the total measurement of a cubic metre? i have some new fold able vented containers however I've misplaced all my written measurement for how high/wide/deep they need to be. here is some pics of my boxes to see if my guestimates are near enough visually.ill grab the measurements of what they measure tmoz when i get back up the yard.
  10. got some new rims for the series 2. £58 quid for six with halfway decent tread left on tires genuine wellers aswell
  11. Ah shame lorry,I shifted on my old mitts yesterday to ou mate who's just started,I'd worn them twice I used to just use wraps. If my tennis elbow ever improves I'll go for it again and try MMA instead straight muay Thai.Only trouble is amatuer MMA rules suck nads.
  12. How did I miss this topic.Long time Thai boxing participant gave up competing to try my hand at strongman ,also started BJJ years ago and have trained a great deal of greco roman.Long long time ufc fan.Have every single match aired from day dot. If had a pound for the amount of wannabe boxers i've dropped with muay Thai I'd be rich man, boxing is no use on the street.
  13. Well this isn't an isloated problem another tree surgen in Cumbria has had the sole come half way off the boot after five months and one read of this tread is enough to how haix have seriously slipped up with there quality lately.Haix used to be reputable and there other ranges still may be but of late it seems the pro protectors are the main let down. The soles are too soft and the glue is too weak.Bad news when my 25 quid steel toe hiking boots of generic brand have lasted three years without one fault.
  14. Toes delaminated now.Less than two months of very light useage.Time forthem to go back to dealer as I don't think paying 200 quid for somthing for it to fall apart after barely any use is on in my opinion. What's peoples findings with sending faulty haix back? Sounds like there customer service is absolute rot.Bought of a dealer on here and it isn't there fault it is haix's for making less than quality footwear
  15. glad i am not the only one with a yard that resembles something from wrong turn ha ha.shame old girl had to go as scrap
  16. There value seems great, they don't charge any more for the longer sizes either( cough cough) take note stretch air!haha I will report my progress with them as i am damn hard on trousers.
  17. one of old bluey with a load of softwood on,and one of the navarra getting worked hard with our old man looking as dashing as ever haha
  18. I mainly sell softwood.I am not a hardwood fan.I like Larch mainly But I've had a suprising bit feed back from customers last Xmas saying the pine I sold them they absolutly raved about, said the flames flickered and danced nicely and it smelt lovely and gave off masses of heat
  19. After using them three times a week tops mine lasted less than two months after I bought them I'm major pissed off.No way are these a high end boot if the glue dosnt last more than month a bit bloody pathetic that naff old cofra ones lasted two years No oil spillsdot fuell spills on them or hardly any walking. The soles are still brand new with hardly any wear.
  20. Well at least they don't mind a cobbler fixing there cack quality eah haha.
  21. I'll just wait for them to run out of wood, pricing it that low they soon will I imagine. All it'd take is for there saw to break or trailer to and they would be out of pocket,I never got pulled into the local fad of everybody dropping prices to match,I'll let them price themselves out of profit.Tortoise and hare story. And andy I'd love a big loader as that is somthing I agree on it does slow production and in turn lessens my profit potential
  22. I'm bit gutted as my size13's ain't cheap.Hope local cobbler can glue it as the soles and everything else look brand new.
  23. New stihls do seem more brittle, and had quite a few carb issues on them.Old stihls tho I love and can't say a bad word about.
  24. Sorry If resurected an old thread but thought was better than littering forum with simar issue, had mine for couple month tops barely used on anything but standing there cutting firewood,I have another pair of boots for brash dragging. But my soles on pro protectors have started to delaminate rubber sole bit where attatches to leather on the area that folds when walk.Is this a common issue and will it effect the boots badly?
  25. Awesome man Happy for you.goes to show persistence is the key.
