  1. Hate this sort of thing as my head is saying LOW. I'd take a punt at this being a £4K job. £3K would be low especially as you've got traffic management
  2. Honey Bros not stocking Aspen Says it all Aspen really need to get real. Get their prices down to help us all stay healthy. I don't see them as the great saviour. If it really was a mission for them they would be on this.
  3. Think he'll make up for Moodie:001_tt2:
  4. Whilst it's good to have a 'partner' to bounce ideas off/support. I would advise NEVER go into partnership with a friend unless you have clearly defined roles in the business. It may be that he sees himself in the same role you do and that don't work. Sit down and work our what you expect from each other and work that way. Otherwise forget it and move on.
  5. Will do- it's coming to our local Travis 23 March. Nearly went down the paslode route as our air nailers can be a pain. This DeWalt will do 50-90mm. Exciting
  6. Bonus point victory. What a 12 hours. Met an old mate on the train up to London- he supports Quinns. Knew Exeter could do it. Sarries postponed- it's a mad dash for 1&2 positions. Well done Jon. We love Bath these days. You're getting Ford for fly half next season is that right?
  7. No dig is a proven method of cropping. It just takes a bit of attitude change. It's got a lot to do with helping nature do what she does best. Mulches and little soil disturbance- letting the worms do the business. The plot doesn't look as regimented as normal but soil fertility is protected. It looks more relaxed although to some eyes more scruffy.
  8. Jesus man- don't you know. It has to be trousers:001_smile:
  9. Telling me Recession= what recession. Always work for a grafter. Good to touch base. We'll meet up face to face one day. I'm in the chair:thumbup:
  10. Do you use it in arb circumstances?
  11. Ask a busy man syndrone. I'd be happy to drop by when you're working with a mini digger to load. No cost to you. Let me know.
  12. Know the feeling Rich. We're flat out. I need a holiday.
  13. You spread all those chips yet Rich:001_rolleyes:
  14. who knows= who cares. Change the blades when they stop working properly. Change the chipper when it's goosed. TW good for us.
  15. Can you explain why you would clear that way. It seems so old fashioned. Then again maybe I'm not up to date with latest methods
  16. It's really frustrating
  17. Sounds like the muslim thing is starting to grate Ty There's always the potting shed
  18. Great but you're signing up dealers who see the profit margin. We as arbs see the incredible cost and ask can we justify it. As a dealer selling a £400 chainsaw it's easy to sell a gallon of fuel at £17 to the customer as they can see the benefit of a fuel that doesn't deteriorate/ no issues with mixes. Thats not our issue. We need it to be cheaper. How are you going to address this.
  19. but do they work when chipper is running/ chainsaws on ground buzzin.
  20. aspen in uk are failing we as arbs would love it but too pricey and not generally available In a climbing saw I think it's wasted. The climber is up a tree where the wind blows. On the ground is where it's needed but thats 5-10 L per day and it costs. How can we believe in this product. Get the price down aspen and you will make a market
  21. Thats for sure Pete We're going to see them put it right against Sale tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Last time I saw Bath in Bath, they beat the Tigers Jon. Maybe tonight will be good for them too.
  22. I guess you know the score Eddie Aspen IS too expensive and hard to get rid of containers. To make it worthwhile you need to buy in bulk which has storage issues. There must be a way you can make this work as I would love to start using it in all 2 stroke and even 4 stroke machines. Needs to be more like BP ultimate = 10-15pence a litre dearer
  23. Had DeWalt 18V system Ni-Cad for about 10 years now. 3amp batts. Everything fits the batteries from impact driver /drills/big drills/circ saw/jig saw. Never any issues and tough as old boots. They have a cheapo range- steer clear Now they bringing out a lithium ion nailer which I HAVE to demo as that woul;d be perfect. Trouble is- not compatible with our batteries. Maybe we need to move Lithium.
  24. Well... looks like I'm going to try again:001_smile:
