Hello mate,

I've got a 201T that's as flat as fart and really lazy/boggy on pick up. Is there any mods etc i can do myself or is it something you can do? I've had a quick google and seen guys have modded the muffler, re-tuned and advanced the timing?

Thanks.

  8. Check this beauty out. Ash on the left , Ivy right.
  9. I've spiked up a stick and realised i left my mainline on the deck
  10. This would help , someone may help you out.
  11. If you've not already , get yourself a friction saver. (basic cambium saver is fine) Then look at the hitch climber set-up. Not expensive to try and not like either , you only need a couple of oval krabs and the pulley. I would recommend using it with a Distel hitch or even better , a Knut. They are both very safe , grabby hitchs. The VT can be tempermental. I've just got a friend using it who was in the same situation as you. He's loving it already and can see all the advantages after just a few climbs.

What did that lump weigh Drew ?
  13. Bugger that. I would need ANOTHER app instead of using tapatalk for everything.
  14. Repair it. It will be fine , i've done it on a few chains now without problems.
  15. I use Husky groundsaws because they are cheaper than the equivalent Stihl. I climb with a Stihl. Good and bad saws from both , i would be just as happy to use Stihl groundsaws. Just for the record i have a MS201T , 346XPG and 576XP.
  16. I'll get my coat. I worked with a chap for a while and he spent most of the days re-tightening and doing up his velcro wraps. Put me off. But sounds like the key is keeping them clean/storing them closed.
  17. The bloom is a bit "past it" though. Not exactly text book.
  18. For Western Power LV utilities they like you to wear 100% cotton tops (nothing to melt in the event of a shock) , no nylon. If you wear a hi-viz it has to be FR.
