  1. I know what I'd be most looking forward to Have a great Christmas Paul.
  2. Buxtons still have steel bracing ontheirwebsite.
  3. Hi Matty, That's a similar picture to one I took. Very similar in fact, it had the same red-lidded groundy and same rigging line in it
  4. I've climbed on static rope before and it's safe to take 10x your weight. A fall on it may be more serious as there is no stretch whatsoever in it. For that price per metre i'm sure that you could find a proper climbing rope like Marlow gecko or Yale XTC12.
  5. What length of rope did you feed through between the loop round the trunk and making the expansion loop? I think cobra recommend 30cm, I generally do closer to 60cm to allow extra friction. I don't think that the system is supposed to be pretensioned but what I normally do is anchor my climbing line above the first end that i install then i'll go over to the other stem and put in a redirect above the second install point. This not only gives you good positioning but also the weight of you on the climbing line pulls the two stems together slightly. I find that just enough to get the right tension but I am 16stone.
  6. Cool, I'll hand deliver it along with my 660 & 200T.
  7. Erotic book distributer.
  8. Great machines. I managed to get a cheap KLF220 (Bayou) after searching for a long time. It tows the TW150 with relative ease. Impressive for only 220cc. Always starts first pull no matter how long it's been sitting.
  9. Steve wouldn't allow my stash of Men Only.
  10. Rather than start a new thread i'll just hijack this one as it's also a warning about these scumbags. A couple of nights ago my Dad's lock-up was broken into again, almost exactly a year after the first time. Luckily he doesn't keep any valuable tools in there any more but last time they visited it was rife all around cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. Keep a close eye on your tools.

20" is what it says on the specs.
  12. Today's climb wasn't that great. Rigging out a good size twin stemmed Ash tree in a churchyard that was as hollow as a barrel.
  13. Yeah, i sub in a groundy (Burrell) when i've got a big job on or need his expertise with his rigging kit.
  14. Can you tell me what chest size Santa is please.
  15. So are you looking for green unprocessed hardwood? If so, If I have a job near you, i could possibly drop some off for a small fee. PM me your details. Ed.
  16. I was thinking more like the song Werewolves of London - love that song. Shame we couldn't change it to Werewolves of Willingham (where the job was). Cheers Burrell
  17. I would do but i really would like more than peanuts for it . I've witnessed his bartering skills at the Arb show.
  18. True. But on my second point, i've always thought that it was be so easy to catch these gangs. A few devises like this rigged in several larger arb outfits in the areas currently targeted at the time and then just sit back and wait for one to take the bait.
  19. Yeah, these are two that were purchased before I had seen the light. Have considered selling the 660 and getting a big Husqy
  20. After reading through the "Got kickback for a saw" thread, does anyone know what the fix is for the jelly chainbrake issues with the 660 & 441 ?
  21. Great to see a supplier trying to combat this issue. Shame that the police are not as proactive.
  22. One of Burrell finishing off the trunk. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Yes it is that one. Think that he has requested/ordered that the cedar is reduced. Male chicken
