  1. when i built ours i ended up making a flywheel/pulley out of 25mm plate as i couldnt get a pulley heavy enough
  2. i have solar pv and water ,used to have a wind turbine have got a wood boiler etc and until you actually start to make/generate your own power you dont realise how much power/heat we actually use if everybody would cut down it would make a lot of difference you dont notice gas going thru a pipe or electricity goin thru the meter until you try to replace it with your own making
  3. change the core to a more open fin design, fibrous type stuff is less likely to get caught
  4. jetwash but watch you don't flatten the fins
  5. i was looking at one but decided to modify our own little david instead wrong of the year to be spending money they look like a decent bit of kit good idea with the carry handles on it
  6. weve got 3 of the makita top handle saws 2 of the dcs230t and 1 of the 3410 the bigger one is pish but the two smaller ones are pretty good

  14. cos everybodys skint and you are slap bang in the middle of a recession that shows no sign of ending our phones havent rung now for 5 weeks prior to that we had 2/3 good jobs cancelled also everybody goes into hibernation at this time of the year and doesnt go out in the garden to make money dont keep all your eggs in the one basket we do everything from tree work to plant repairs and its still tough for us
  15. i fitted a new new hyd pump to an o&k rh120 excavator but didn't notice there was a plastic cap on one off the ports it blew off and dumped 3000 litres of hyd oil down the road woops:blushing:

  17. we dont lift it usually we just sit garden ornaments on them and inform each other of land mines customer usually gets the message
  18. all shiny and new it,ll be a bomb site within a couple of days
  19. they are sold in uk as tundra but you can get them from elsewhere as a burnit and i think they are about 1k cheaper
  20. burnit activ boiler and tank cost me 2800 for the both of them and total cost was approx 4500 and i fitted it myself this included pipes to house,laddomat pump, flue stat,flue, heat exchanger as it is combined into the circuit for the combo boiler
