1. how many inbreds does it take to steal a digger shows you how thick they are
2.
looks an interesting job

3. you will also need a valve to control the rotator as the aux valve is used for the grab they are quite easy to fit you can tap into the same port as the quick hitch
4. heres our tracked arbtruck uses the same chassis as the stump grinder but with pinned on attachments we were using it today to haul some ash from the bottom of a farmers park we had no chance of getting the iveco near it 8 loads of this was enough to overload the iveco twice
5. why the change from greenteeth to sandvik disc also whats the big bit of box section on the cutter head why go down the 90deg drive rather than hyd drive ps it looks a proper piece of kit well done
6. more close ups please I'm impressed that is a belter makes my efforts look paltry
7. close ups of the grinder if you can please i need pics for ideas
8. had a look at the green wheel and decided that the greenwheel was too expensive so i drew it out and sent it to the profilers got it cut out of weldox 700 cost 25+vat to get it cut and the cutters were 240 ish versus 1300 for green wheel and then time to machine it .see thru so you see what your grinding also means less mass for the belts to spin up
9.
whats the story with your avatar

10. does any body know the torque for greenteeth pockets and tips
11. how much did it cost to do the bearings
12. terex at tankersley is the job and they have a safe workshop that its going into thanks for the offer i was gonna take my own chipper but 250 each way with the iveco isnt very appealing
13. thanks for replies tried googling but gave up as the tinternet in the hotel was totally crap
14. looking to hire a 6" chipper for 3-4 days for a job in barnsley to save me dragging our chipper 250 miles each way can anybody point me in the direction of one
15. stein revolution with an extra 2 " otherwise they are at half mast when you are climbing
16. im intruiged what it is do tell:questionmark:
17. todays achievements were pretty good got the profile and got it machined to take the cutters and the mounting holes
18. did think about multi tip but the guy that sells them over here was quite slow/forgot sizes and i also spoke to the fella that was selling one on ebay for a 28hp predator and he was selling it because greenteeth work out cheaper. also i can machine the holes for the pockets really easy and the profile for the wheel works out about £35 and greenteeth are £209 = £244 green wheel was going to be £350+vat+del and it would still need tweaked to match shaft sizes the tracks were the same that i still use for our other grinder from a honda power barrow that had been converted to a drill rig:thumbup:
19. thanks for the offer but i am picking up the new wheel from the profilers tomorrow and theres a new set of greenteeth on route
20. finally managed to get a bit of time to start the new stump grinder project got the engine from a road tow compressor deutz 2 cyl diesel started making the shaft and the front frame its also getting mounted on our wee tracked arb truck
