  1. carolus do a good ratchet spanner bigger than most i have a 24mm but i think they are available up to 36mm you just need to sell one of your kidneys to pay for it
  2. i have a mish mash of snap on britool teng halfords even some king dick as well i refuse to buy snap on any more as it grows legs britool isn't as good as it used to be go with tend or halfords or if you want to splash a bit more get facom beta is good as well but there pliers are poop
  3. Ours pegged it completely and i had a look about and ended up fitting a woodward stress control i picked it up on ebay for about 60 quid it just needed programmed for our application
  4. Get shot of the praxis blade and change to a plain wheel with greenteeth it will be cheaper in the long run
  5. if it does get stuck lay a bit of rope into the corners in a u shape if it gets stuck pull it hey presto its all on top of you
  6. 365 got to be ours is 7 year old and still plods away if i was stranded in the jungle it would be my choice
  7. underneath the bottom box section weld on some pins about 3 inch long it lets your steer your poles without them kicking out when you steer
  8. go to bed your obviously wound up and are now rambling ps whats the valve clearance for a honda gx 120
  9. haha i am pissing myself laughing at your reply your answer is yes i run a tree surgery business i left school at 16 to work with a local plant his company left them to go to samsung dealer then had dealings with hyundai then terex o&k left there went to large national demolition company doing industrial demotion with shears grabs with a fleet of large liebherrs etc left there went to a local excavator attachments company then to cat for a brief spell then was requested to go back to terex atlas and also doing ammann yanmar cormidi so you can rest assured that i know exactly what i am talking about ps the item no that was on ebay for the valve 310963679748 stick to mowers
  10. measure the hose sizes for the bucket ram and go from there have a look at flow tech on ebay they do them i think there are a few hyd places in inverness and theres a big place at elgin
  11. even easier then if it has a spare two way circuit pipe the foot pedal into the rotation and fit two 2way changeover valves into the bucket circuit and use them for opening closing the grab i presumed that it just had a basic hammer circuit . which part of the country are you in
  12. usually coolers are in the return circuit have you had a gauge on it to see what pressure its making
  13. for the rotation you can rob the flow for the valve at the same point as the quick hitch if the machine has two pumps take it from the opposite pump as sometimes it causes the machine to veer one way if you steal too much flow or the other way to do it if you have a hammer circuit fit the valve into that then you press the pedal to activate the rotation hydraulics
  14. so you would use the bucket crowd circuit for rotation this is a really poor idea and never gets done by manufacturers as they have buttons in the joysticks for rotation if the grabs too fast at rotting fit a restrictor in the feed to the valve
  15. just curious as you would expect a manufacturer to have a protection valve as standard
  16. no it won't be better round the other way round its logs he's picking up not eggs a cetop3 valve for rotation works perfect for this application trust me i do this for a living and it also more cost effective having a 1/4 rotation circuit than a 1/2" valve retrofitted for open /closing
  17. has the power pack not got any relief valves to protect it ?
  18. why 6 way you only need two services for your grab use the bucket ram for the grab open close and then fit a 2 way solenoid valve for rotation simples you can fit 2 change over valves with quick couplings on both sides of the bucket circuit to make it nice an easier to swap over
  19. i never considered marine engines to be highly stressed working in clean dust free environment at pretty steady speeds and loads
  20. stick a gauge on the hose and see if your getting pressure out of the quick coupling
  21. hatz engines are a total reaming to buy why not repower with deutz
