  1. ok chaps i am looking for a bit of input/advice on this type of thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HWgAZqq6WUw has anybody seen one in the uk or even better used one pros cons i aint sure if they are in the uk for safety issues cheers
  2. make sure the exhaust gaskets etc are ok no exhaust leaks as on air cooled engine it can be terminal blowing onto the pots
  3. the piston and barrel are out of it i will take a picture as i think the wrong pistons been fitted
  4. looking for a piston and rings and crank seals for an old 42 theres a meteor piston on ebay its 42 mm but we are unsure which one it will be open skirt or closed skirt any pointers chaps cheers

  6. always the injector end as it forces the air out of the pipe
  7. keep the pivots well greased as the cheaper end of the market the pins and bushes aren't usually the best quality
  8. from the drawing it looks like its a safety solenoid i would reckon round about 24 ohms for the coil if you look in the end of the coil there might be a button that you can push in to bypass it some have a screw in bypass if dismantle the valve you might be able to pack the back of the spool to work permanently but you will have no safety circuit
  9. have a look at the radiator cap is it ok are the seals intact any doubt replace it. take the cap of and run it at idle see if there are bubbles coming up you can test the coolant with a sample kit to see if the head gasket has went i think about £50 if the engine cuts out i would look at fuel filters stop solenoid etc first

  12. what makes you think the water pump is goosed have the impeller blades broke off is it leaking is the impeller spinning on the shaft

  15. on some jobs we find that you can move stuff that quick especially large conifer clear outs that we could do with 2 trolleys if you do domestic tree work the arb trolley is a no brainer it is a great piece of kit but has its limitations especially going up steps loaded
  16. what makes you think its overheating as for cutting out if its overheating i wouldn't expect it to start again as it would be seized
  17. thats a big ol lump of a tree cracking view from the top
  18. that will be a smart feature in a garden better than replanting
  19. if you load the chipper straight from the trolley we found that you get less stones getting into the chipper and less crap falls onto customers gardens
  20. for 130 does it include the saw
  21. check if you can push the gland back in and pop out the wire lock ring
  22. are things that bad down there
  23. carolus do a good ratchet spanner bigger than most i have a 24mm but i think they are available up to 36mm you just need to sell one of your kidneys to pay for it
  24. i have a mish mash of snap on britool teng halfords even some king dick as well i refuse to buy snap on any more as it grows legs britool isn't as good as it used to be go with tend or halfords or if you want to splash a bit more get facom beta is good as well but there pliers are poop
  25. Ours pegged it completely and i had a look about and ended up fitting a woodward stress control i picked it up on ebay for about 60 quid it just needed programmed for our application
