  4. its not false economy we do ours when we are doing other stuff i.e. servicing saws filling chipper with diesel unloading tippers it fits in nicely and costs us very little in the way of time
  5. global were doing genuine ones cheaper than that i found with the ones from saturn they were a smaller diameter causing the nose of the shank to wear too soon
  6. the last company i worked for cut the wheel of one by accident when they were cutting a large steel vessel in half it rolled over and chopped the wheel clean off with two ops in the basket:scared1::scared1:

  14. the suction side of the pump could be drawing air or have a restriction on the suction screen which is making it draw air hence the hyd tank pressurises and blows oil out of the easiest orifice or around the return filter some machines do pressurise to stop cavitation but i would think that your chipper isn't built so . check jubilee clips on the feed to the pump or look for pinholes etc
  15. so how could you gather your opinion if you didn't watch the video . it does go faster but i was in no hurry and there were quite a few obstacles around i would like to see a man that can carry what this will move in a day. work smarter not harder
  16. micro diggers are still too heavy for us and all you need to do is step off the back off it , i find with a digger you are in and out them all the time which slows us up . i think you can get get micros with 2 speed travel

  18. it was a good project to do and if it helps my body from falling to bits its worth the hassle cause i aint getting any younger
  19. look on line on timber wolfs website its in amongst the manuals
  20. we've just bought our second echo and i think they are a good quality pruner but parts are very expensive and we've had a few issues with shaft bearings but that was down to water ingress I've never used tanaka but what I've heard they are also very good
  21. it wasn't the handiest on that occasion for dragging brash we did use the arbor trolley the skid steer was more for taking out the heavier timber the point of the vid was to show how you can lift pretty reasonable size pieces over objects

  23. id agree with you on the local supplier but i can buy the same bearings on line for a 1/4 of the cost if you know exactly what your looking for online will be cheaper
