  1. thats not needed as you would use bucket tilt for open and closing grab it only needs a direction valve if you don't have 2 way flow on your aux circuit theres no need to add valves if they aren't needed. for the restrictors in the motor you need a directional restrictor as most motors for grabs don't have a built in crossover valve to avoid breaking shafts and the control valve needs to be open port to tank when in neutral so the grab can rotate freely until a movement is required
  2. you can fit a cetop style valve and work it with push buttons on the joysticks and take pressure from main pump output or from the breaker pedal or servo system as its for rotation it will work with fairly low pressure
  3. it looks heavy enough to do our job its getting put on skid steer thanks chaps
  4. does anybody have a riko grab any problems with them whats the build quality like its the small jl grab that i have been looking at

  8. camisa 580 high tip dumper. tcp would have been better suited but they get silly money on ebay and most are diesel i was looking for petrol
  9. the picture has been taken from somebody else's account a while ago but on the other hand it may be a genuine sale you won't need a stump grinder on stornoway theres hardly a tree
  10. i am always amazed at how much they can carry that looks like a proper load ours is rated at 580kg and it'll pull it up 35 degrees

  13. everything from the loader arms to the bucket .the grab is next to get done done the drawings for it all and send it to jl steels and they cut it on cnc profile burner makes it look a lot better than hand burning
  14. first one is an o&k rh120 face shovel front visor and the second is a back actor these usually take about 30-35t a scoop
  15. a motor that size burns a lot of fuel the mining trucks that we were working on were 1050hp we had a fleet of 30ish working 24 hrs a day its a hell of a lot of diesel
  16. almost finished just got the grab to build now
  17. too many variables in this i think to make any sort of conclusions
  18. if you get the chance go sightseeing in cumnock lovely place just avoid the town centre at the weekend
