  1. 550xp end of convo
  2. We also have a Jensen a540t, bloody good machine but the team that use it are forever breaking the gas strut on the stop bar. The forst has one to, but it's better guarded and looks a bit stronger. Out of all the other machines the Jensen is definitely an easy second
  3. We have 3 tr8's, have all had small teething problems but all sorted very quickly by forst. There service and support is second to none and quite frankly, we would not go back to any other machine. We have had 2 timberwolfs, a greenmech a Jensen and the forst comes out on top everytime. Thought some positive comment was nessesary here. Out of our 3 forsts, the first 2 we got are number 5 and 6 of the production line, and our newest (3rd) was delivered early this year, They have changed a few little bits that niggled us with the first 2, simple things like there is now a sensor to stop the rollers from operating when the hopper is up. The tie down points are now bigger and a few other little changes
  4. Good choice 👍🏼
  5. Rear handled ms200?
  6. Ahh bugger, I have a thing against bottom bars, Il have to look for an older machine. 😉
  7. Quick question Pete, does the arb130 still come with the original hopper with too stop bar only on request?
  8. Looks to be another case of, il buy this house with a nice big tree in the garden, ahh thetree is dropping leaves all over my lawn, I must chop it down. Ohh it's blocking all the light, But one must ask, was it big and blocking the light when you bought the house? To remove a redwood of that size (if in good health) would be a real shame, and in response to your actual question, no, it is the dno's responsibility to keep there network clear and that is all.
  9. Quick and easy 🤔🤔
  10. Pm sent bud, she was a beauty and I had big plans for it. But needed to much work and didn't have the money to do it at the time.
  11. St6 👍🏼👍🏼
  12. They did have problems with a few pumps sucking in air, we had a a few issues with our first tr8.

    Best 70cc saw

I agree, we have 2 441s and they are utter tosh, The 461 isn't a bad saw but my personal favourite is the husqvarna 576xp

  16. Well me and had a good day reducing an ash, we don't get the chance to do a reduction very often and joe has only done a small one before. I think we did quite well with this one, taking quite a lot of weight out and re shaping without ruining the tree. Jay did a good job on the ground on his own. Was an enjoyable climb for once. Managed to get before and after and got jay to take some photos while we was working .

Shavey. Could I have a price on a dcs 9010 or a ps9010. Hope all is well
  18. Not exactly a good idea not having a stop bar is it?
  19. We have a few spares and get them welded when they go, as we had a careless trainee who did it a lot
  20. I have a tree hog I've used once, it seems to suspend the weight in your hips rather than your legs, I now have the tree Austria 3.2 and it's the best harness I've had, shortly followed by the skylotec
  21. Been given a good running stihl ms361, was hoping to change the quick release/quick tension adjust to a standard side casing and standard chain adjuster but unfortunately the inside casing is slightly different and there is nowhere for the chain adjuster to fit . Will still be perfect for a slightly bigger groundsaw when I get it back together.
  22. pulled into the yard 10 seconds behind this in the summer 😂
  23. Are you still accepting chip james? Hope all is well
