  1. There a nice looking t151 a t160 and a t162 on eBay at the moment 👍🏼
  2. We have an n121 and a n123, both great tractors, both used for forwarding trailers and then through spring and summer I take the 123 bale karting about 18t. Both go tipping through our agg land. Both reliable and. Comfy. Hope this helps. Ed
  3. Is the Bonet shut properly? Failing that is there a switch to tell the chipper the bonnet is shut?
  4. The stihl equivalent is crap buddy, send it bad for an exchange
  5. Check out chainsawbars.co.uk click on makita, then your model, and it comes up with all the chains that fit your saw
  6. What he said, but the fs410 and fs490 are good units too 👍🏼
  7. No dolmar anymore?
  8. We have 5 fs410's at work and they do everything from shredding bramble with a mulcher blade to strumming around the edge of plantations, even had a circular saw blade on them in the woods last week, they have easy start or ergo start 'whatever they call it' which works very well, we never have any problems with them. When I was self employed I bought an fs490 which was an absolute beast of a machine, it was 52cc and would wack through long grass with 3mm cord with no dip in revs, (did get through the cord quick though). Hope this helps Ed
  9. You would be better suited to a 72cc + saw buddy, milling puts a lot of strain on a saw, I used to use a 576xp with a 20inch bar for small milling or a makita dcs9010 for bigger material with a 30" bar,
  10. Always been there buddy, the t540xp, 550, 560, 576xp all have it
  11. thinning out a young section of linford wood
  12. If your just climbing on a prussic or similar I wouldn't spend the extra money on a pulley saver, they come into there own with hitchclimber set ups or mechanical devices, I climb with a zigzag on a 11.7mm rope and I have an art rope guide, the rope guide can also be used to choke off on the stem and provide an ancore point on a pole with no suitable branches or forks. IMO, this set up works brilliantly for me and the difference between a rope guide and normal cambium saver is massive, Hope this helps Ed flint
  13. Almost looks as flimsy as the 441 too,

  15. They are are nothing like a shliesing, don't be fooled, We have a 12 inch pto machine, cheap and cheerful
  16. On some saws like the 560xp it's still there
  17. I'm on my 3rd pair of arbortecs, I can't fault them, very comfy and seem to be fairly robust despite a lot of spikey situations on hawthorn hedge poweline clearance stuff, and climbing over barbed wire all day,
  18. The new Jensen a530 petrol is 35hp too which will be sweet,
  19. Predator 50 👍🏼
