  1. Had my five minuets of fame today. Been on front page of my local rag as well as a interview on local telle and a snapshot of me chainsawing on ITV national news.   4. I find TPO's ok but conservation areas are a bit of a joke, most customers don't believe me that trees they have planted them selves need 6 weeks notice if there over 10cm dbh. And the whole app process is slow, and quite needless. TPO - Good Trees in conservation area - Bad
  5. can't however run it as a seperate business unless I have saws for firewooding and saws for the tree work otherwise which set of accounts do you put them in? Don't matter unless the VAT man is going to be watching you every time you start a saw

  7. Ha ha as an update, they been sending me letters from debt collectors, I told the debt collector to take me to court. I still not herd naught. Seem to be getting alot of calls from foresters fund for children same sort of scam. I'm more wise this time.

  11. But once the hubs are locked in you can flick between them until you unlock them
  12. Yer for my 4x4 operation is quite simple too, only you have to flicke the RFL button to unlock the front hubs when your back in the dry

  14. To be honest I have nearly ripped the chute of my 150 many times. Going into car parks and when backing it into my garage. Its easy done

  22. Unless the picture is deceiving and that house is actually a castle a MEWP would be a massive over doo, and the price would be extortionate. Ladder! or if your a wimp them little scaffold towers from HSS
  23. Ivy looks horrible buts easy to get of walls, Its like picking a scab, really satisfying when you get a big bit off. Just cut the bottom and get a spade under it. Easy peasy. Should't be a tree snob and scoff at a bit of ivy
  24. When i worked on the estate and had an estate house I cut a Christmas tree out of the plantation and used it taped to drain rods, it did't work. Apparently in the main house they use to drop a holly bush attached to a cannon ball from the roof, but I think they were pulling my leg about that
  25. I used to subby for salcey quite alot. Not so much these days, they have lots of blokes so is an easy firm to get into, Cheers for PM, I'll get back to you as soon as I have eaten this muffin.
