When can we expect the new qualification to be ready and who is going to offer it? I've signed up for it at moulton twice but with they seem to have limited interest in the perusing the course.

I do with one or two and it works great sharing the odd bit of kit or helping on big jobs, getting that second opinion, but I find the majority of tree surgeons quite hostile to other tree workers,

Heres mine with old boards I've up graded it today, with two new sheets of 12mm ply total cost was £30 I might go the extra hog and varnish them I'll upload some new pics next week, Exciting

Ha ha Standing timbers hard to come by, but it should't be there's alot of woodland not under management that could be, I blame consultants, they should be filling the link but instead get in the way. Charge lots of money for colourful management plans which hold no relevance to practical silviculture are generally useless.

Call me pessimistic but that Woodlots seems like a lot of people selling individual Garden trees. Not exactly the same as FC E-timber sales of them other people who do the timber auctions

How can anyone steal a job its a competitive world, if Ted in the village can do it with a bow saw for half the price of you then who's the better tree cutter? Resourceful ted I'd say I've done a few jobs for chicken feed and sold the wood for a good money, like millable elm, Oak saw logs etc Its just knowing the markets
