  1. Is it down yet?
  2. Its a worry, its almost like people are given to much freedom of expression which can not be questioned.
  3. Have any of you been on the YouTube comments, he really is a higher power to them they are devoid of self purpose they are sheeple scary to know they hear it from good ol' nige and its now truthful to boot they feel they came up with the view themselves. All of them are experts in tree biology, luckily my weekend is slow im happy to keep the inmates entertained Also I've been told my iq is below 35 i thought that was rather generous im just past being a dribbler
  4. Cant say inregards the gyro, but in regards to camp i think they are a brilliant company. Used the tree Access gt for abseiling its a pucka harness
  5. Left long ebough they become items of interest. Prior to that they are just gash
  6. Looks a good job for zip lining
  7. Was a good day, they are new to rigging but soon picked it up
  8. I've been using treehog bright orange, lasting really well
  9. VID-20201211-WA0023~2.mp4 Got nasty very brittle willow down no damage to the smaller tree or the fence. As per all in the worst places VID-20201211-WA0022~2.mp4 VID-20201211-WA0023~2.mp4
  10. "few months ago you couldn't see the sky" Poor confused sod doesn't know that leafs fall off in the autumn-winter They will grow back in the spring he will claim its his miracle and his followers will praise him the the second coming.
  11. Dont worry he stops when he f**ks it up and goes onto his next item. Prat
  12. Glad this isn't written on paper, we would have used that tree up by now
  13. Nice dead willow as a warm up, the other willow has a wood pecker hole about 2mtrs below the ideal anchor and a massive span over a fence and small young oaks got the easy stuff in the afternoon needed my rigging kit to finish up so will be done tomorrow. Really nice firm to climb for.
  14. I would more likely down 6000series because it is weldable. But in reality plate steel works so more than likely wouldn't bother
  15. Yeah id mill it myself have a well equipped machine shop At some point in the future I'll do the Maths
  16. Guess my view is based on old weathered zinc that leaves staining. Ultimately an ali alloy is probably best option
  17. I sort of ruled out hot dip as i can forsee it will make ropes very black.
  18. Yeah thats the price for 8mm bar and a mini oxy propane kit. Madness When im happy with mine im going to look at either zinc plate or powder coat
  19. Making the control side more like the grcs
  20. As soon as they had arrived in the post within a week i had my first one lasered and welded. The infeed and outfeed fairleds must keep the rope in correct locations to keep the drum tidy.
  21. My winch earnt its keep today, very tight drop zone maybe 2x1m due to the choock shed, and that fart to hard fall apart hazel fence Initially lowered most of it into the pen, then redirected the line to be able to lift them over the fence into the truck. Winch managed 19" by maybe 1.5m lengths only robinia wouldn't want to do that with oak. I wouldn't want to be without one now, only issue is the drum has a huge amount of friction not helped by frozen stiff ropes. Have one more to make up and better fairleads the other one winch is better designed
  22. Secret is to keep your hand on the bit you are grinding, you soon know when it's hot
  23. That title, all i can think of was being much much younger and using a 50w incandescent bulb. Kids today how will they manage Id look at a greenhouse heater, and humidity switched extractor fan
