  1. That's not at all the case. Most people are well below that 50k puts you up in as a top earner
  2. I'm glad I opened this one, You decided to clear 11kv lines? You feel like following safe working practices is optional? You insinuate that others have ruined the tree industry? Fascinating story none the less. I find it curious in these cases, the neighbour doesn't like it so what! Leave them their upset treat it as if it's water of a ducks back, then you wouldn't feel compelled to tell the world about this extraordinary fascinating encounter and then fortunately for us it wouldn't exist on this forum. ps this is the internet you are on it! So are you a part of the problem!
  3. Because you have a phone? What are you doing with it?
  4. Not have any photographic evidence of jobs completed. Just tall tales
  5. 100% just watching a YouTube on how to tie off a log 🤣 the tutorial worked
  6. Eucy take down, Awkward drop zone, the lower branches were over 30ft long hanging over sheds and green houses. These i rigged flat Swung a big top as it's position was unbelievably awakard Then it was was back to porta-wrap and logs Had a conifer to remove which we pulled up and off the sheds in lumps, saved bundles of hard work All in all it went damn well
  7. Today's reduction was the tree on the right, it's amazing how much quicker not having to avoid target is. Before After
  8. Same
  9. That's brilliant, I'm selling a honda for a BMW, I have a Kawasaki zx I'm really ****************ed. 😂
  10. I was also greeted with a sneaky picture that was taken. I'm sure I saw it in a text book, oddly with a red cross through it.
  11. Heading to Kent to pick a BMW 1200gs which will be a part of this year's plans of European travel. Looks a fair day, been blessed as the rain that was forecasted seems to be no more
  12. Yup, I wanted a deadwood and thin. It's a good example of a tree that's needed no significant work. Ho hum.
  13. Oak reduction today. Lots of climbing, not the best anchor majority of the top was on a flat line We lu
  14. Bit of a dull job at least in regard an arb way, customer wanted back to boundary and pollard another oak. I'm just the climber. Although to add interest there is a plastic roof, rubber roof, fence and all the other usual stuff. Drop zone maybe 2m by 2m Big swings not an option, two control lines not an option as it's me and the groundsman only. Rope was set in a V shape, tied off to the left, pulley in the middle, pulley on the right down to the winch All is well that ends well, Not my idea of a beautiful job, however nothing other than the tree were damaged.
  15. Nope I'm out, only tree I won't climb
  16. Oak pollard today, I'm just the climber. I'm anti lopping a topping, i don't really like pollards but this tree I'd happily cut in half it adds very little value.

    Measles

I started for the thrill, I was a pretty decent cabinet maker who was bored. I've got a huge list of qualifications I've undertaken, tree work the job I always come back to. That unrest and constant searching is every aspect of my life, it's frustrating

For what's it's worth I'm only recently diagnosed with ADHD, it has some massive advantages, give me something dodgy or dangerous I'm in my element. Ambition and progress often exceeds the others around me. But it's also caused me unbelievable troubles in my life, it's ended a 10year relationship recently, caused significant bouts of depression, the constant distraction is hard to describe. My ambition normally only reaches 80% before I'm looking for a new adventure or some new excitement. It's a shit condition to have nothing glamorous about it. Due to start medication and other therapies as It's at a point where I'm being held back by it. They say that ADHD is the most over diagnosed and most under diagnosed condition.
  21. Two clips that were recorded. It's nice being able to tension the line, and lift as it's swinging round.
  22. Fine once you are used to it, doesn't slow the job down or anything.
  23. Rather nice oak tree to reduce probably the best climbing oak I've had in a long time and another 2 to go back to nice big swings and monkeying around. Though I often why bother reducing them, I'd rather dead wood and thin, life of Freelance.
  24. DIY winch had some more use today, arguably the best piece of equipment I own. Glass railings, extremely rotten willow, luckily there was a tree close by to use for rigging and my climbing line.
  25. Need my climbing kit lolerd im near sible hedingham, anyone around this area? Cheers.
