  4. i second that, and also youd more than likely be working with a crew unaccustomed to tree work,which can lead to disasterous results
  5. gibbons point about lookin after firms that look after you is a good one, and be aware that its a very small world in tree work,and very unforgiving,dont balls up cos mistakes/attitude are remembered long after the perfect takedown/reduction

    gonna totally recon head while cabs off, as some of you will know working on bedfords with non tilt cabs is a PITA,so wanna do the lot while its easy!!. As it stands truck runs fine,no overheating,just dread leaving jobs sometimes.

    on start up or when ive been doing crane work or winching when i get on the road and give it some beans theres loads of white smoke for a couple of miles, which indicates unburnt fuel? which is most likely cause,bad injectors,faulty return,pump timing or something else?its on an 8.2 bedford engine. originally engine used lift pump but now runs on electric pump,would this make a difference cheers:thumbup1:

  19. this whole forum is full of indivduals that can offer very valuable advice on all aspects of arb/trees/business etc, it would be very sad if people stopped giving the benefit of their experience IMO
