  1. very old field maple pollard,had to take a bit of weight out,massive span between its 'knuckles' (considering the species).

  3. cool,place very near called West Dean,has fantastic Victorian gardens with ace Arboretum,bloke who owned it was proper eccentric and when a couple of his favourite Beeches had to come down he had them monolithed, then plastic coated, Gano brackets included!

  12. destroyed transfer box on lorry today,been winching up a oak butt,loaded it on,jumped back in cab pulled away but had nt disengaged winch,horrrible noise,dead box!wot a moron!found another for £100 though,so not too bad

    salisbury

    had to collect sofa from salisbury today,they enquired if i would give a price for their tree work (couple of apples to reduce,fair bit of hedge cutting etc),im too far away,so if anyone wants it pm me and i ll pass on contact details,cheers

  21. i like having a couple of beers wether the days been good or bad,no more than that on a school night though,cant be doing with even a hint of a hangover at work
