  2. I can kind of see where your coming from when the likes of watchdog etc say 'only use AAC', can be frustrating. Personally as a very small fish in the arb pond i would love to see some sort of AA rating for just the quality of your arboriculture,not what sort of businessman you are,i know its probably unrealistic,but would give freelancers/one man bands a boost.
  3. yep,my boy Charley,3,refers to our cord pile as 'the climbing frame',have to watch him like a hawk.
  4. had a bloke ring me up 2 weeks ago,'ive felled 350 spruce,burnt all the brash,but i need the trunks clearing,' i got him to send couple of photos,they were about 6 to 8" diameter,down an embankment and he had left the stumps about 2 ft high,total nightmare to extract! So i rang him back explaining it would be expensive, he says ' oh i thought you would have given me some money to do it for the timber!' MUPPET

  7. Ive had o couple of experiences of the old 'i ve not been paid yet so nor can you', not on. your getting someone in to make your job work and your profit,its not fair to get em to finacially underwrite it as well! luckily now i only freelance for good people with good ethics.

  17. my hi lux is on about 260,000 miles,battered through woods nearly every day,totally abused,has just gone straight through test,needed a wiper blade! another reason i will never buy a land rover
