  3. aint that the truth! in northern spain at the mo,every where i look there are massive hazard trees,puts in perspective our sanitised de veteranised country,weve cut ourselves out of a job!!

  8. i started out coppicing Sweet Chesnut for fire wood,i was told cut as low as you can and flat,so you dont give the forwarder punctures,all the 'art' that i was told!now i go as far as stacking brash on it to keep deer from grazing new shoots. i work the top end of south west,if i get any coppicing will give you a shout
  9. does any one know of a firm that will do 6 or 7 months p/l and e/l?every april i start on staging/rigging work and dont go back to trees till late sep.hate paying out dead money!

    on real skinny trees i will run flip line over itself round tree(if that makes sense),then if you slip it will choke straight away

    totally agree, i will sometimes use em on rough barked trees (monterey pine etc)if time is against me,cant even notice where youve been. I expect to get shot down in flames now!!

  13. sleeves look well short on 1st t,prefer bit longer personally,you bringin out matching muscle vests as well?
  14. Stephens right,standard of work tells people far more about your business than a land line number ever will,my work 90% word ofmouth,and they always call the mobile,dont sweat it
  15. pre 1959 all commercials are test exempt as long as used unladen,no weight restriction ie can drive hgv on car liscence.got one insured for £35 for year!!!cheap motoring
