  8. I've got a half built splitter mounted on trailer with Honda power pack, ram, levers etc, just needs a day or two faffing about if your interested
  9. When I have an extra climber on my jobs I pay him £150, he's very good and nothing is too much trouble. When I'm sub by climbing for other people I charge £ 150, with own saws etc. I think that's a fair rate. Groundie with no tickets I pay £70, but he works hard for it!

Some very good points in your post, there are tons of passable climbers, quite a few good climbers and a minority of dogs Bollox climbers, IME 95% of the real good uns are either running their own show or picking and choosing who to sub for and when, which is well deserved when you've spent years and much dosh honing your skills.
