  8. Sounds like you boys down there get it cheap then I have not bought any in for over twelve months as i have packed in doing the logs. The last load i did buy in was mixed hardwood, processor size. It was felled 6 months before i bought it. That cost me £40/tonne delivered. That was off a chap on here.

  14. Bloody mice!! sold 50 nets of kindling the other day, the pesky little things had chewed through the draw cords on lots of the nets to make a nest On the upside i shot three rabbits on the front lawn this morning.....Can't beat a bit of rabbit stew
  15. I don't do logs anymore (thankfully). Delivered to a pub last year, landlady was not happy with the size of the load, her husband had seen a load the day before and ordered a load for the next day, she got him on the phone so i could speak to him, he told me to tip the load and take the money from his wife, all sorted , just about to jump in the truck and leave when she says can we have another load tomorrow, ya couldn't make it up!!!!!
  16. Swing lift is the way to go. i had one on my Cabstar.....£150 sounds like a good buy, thats about what i paid for mine.....But not sure you'd get one for that money atm. Lucas swing lift Hiab crane 1/2 ton lift 12 volt suit transit pick up or trailer | eBay
  17. People have a choice to join the armed forces these days (and i thank them all)..Those that went before us were never afforded such luxury's. We should never forget.
  18. Any news scraggs ? I was asking a mate of mine who is a machine driver from Harwich to keep an eye/ear out for your gear. He told me he had a machine on hire last week that got nicked!!!! Although it has/had a tracker on the old bill still can't find it.
