  1. Yep lots of people having problems with there drainage systems at the moment. I was called out to a wholesale warehouse in Sudbury yesterday that was under two inches of surface water. They have a pumping station that could not keep up with the amount of rain we have been having. I ended up having to put an over pump on the pumping station to stop the flooding. Now for the shameless plug. Anyone who as got any drainage problems in East Anglia can give me a shout and i will do my best to help you out.
  2. Yep seen it Marc, but in the second pic (after the hoarding is removed) it's a no right turn sign on the first sign, i can't make out what is on the furthest away traffic light on google street view!
  3. Iv'e worked with a couple of lads that have had it (both worked with waste water/sewage). Its a nasty thing to catch. We found one of the lads unconscious on Thetford sewage works and rushed him to hospital.....From what we were told it was touch and go if he would live......He made a full recovery
  4. Am i right in thinking that Lepto and Weils are the same thing ?
  5. Guns is the collective name for the people who are shooting.
  6. Nice one Paul. You have earned every penny of what is laid out in the photo above Shame there aint a few more about that are made of the same stuff that you are made of. Have a great Christmas. All the best. Egg.
  7. Nice one Paul. I need pics of the lights with Hatton cross station on your left hand side. The pics need to be taken when the lights are at green. Lets see if the power of Arbtalk can work some magic on this situation!
  8. Steve, from what the solicitor told me it does not matter if i committed the offence or not. If the ticket says there was a straight on arrow (which it does) but the sign is a no left turn which i think it was the the ticket will be void. As for the google street view thing it looks like the signs have been changed at some point. check out these pics. If you notice when the hoardings are around the X2 buildings the signs are straight on arrows but when the hoardings have been removed its a no right turn sign. no right turn 1.doc That should read no right turn.
  9. Need a favour! I got pulled over by the Old Bill last Saturday whilst picking up silky fox on the way to Mendiplogs place for a xmas drink. I went through a no right turn sign at a set of traffic lights..fair play,I done wrong..But this was a genuine mistake. The copper that pulled me was a right....erm...arse. To cut along story short, the ticket says i failed to comply with a straight ahead arrow at the lights. The thing is (as far as i can remember ) the sign was a no right turn sign. I have spoken to a solicitor and he told me if the paper work is not correct the ticket will be void. If there is anyone in the Feltham/Heathrow area that could take a few pics of the junction that would be great. I will of course pay you for your time/effort. Google street view, don't work!
  10. Yes Jon, Sonia did tell me all about it!! Your secret is safe with me mate
  11. Mrs Egg was out beating on a local shoot today when one of the guns got his motor stuck whilst doing a bit of off roading! This was the result of his mate trying to tow him out!!! Apparently the towing eye came free from the motor that was stuck and went straight through the back window of the disco
  12. I'm sure you old Stoke fans will make most of anything
  13. I think i know what ya mean Dave!....All the rubbish goes to your customers?
  14. I guess there ain't much ya can do about it then Dave!.....Is it an open sided barn?....Could you install a cheap wood burner and burn the crap/rubbish bits of timber that you would not send out to customers? I had an old gas bottle stove in my barn that kept the place warm/dry (ish) and was handy for a hot cuppa and a bacon butty!
  15. I didn't deliver my logs damp! They were barn stored and loaded on the truck with the truck backed in to the barn. Then covered with this if it was raining. Nissan cabstar truck cover will fit flatbed or tipper | eBay
  16. Nice one Steve. My hoodie turned up on Saturday when i was down at Jon's place. Perfect fit! Mrs Egg had put it in the spare bedroom and forgot to tell me it had arrived until this evening
