  1. It's all to feck, most folk are, or seem to be playing it safe, yesterday in the local village there was 2 Police cars and 4 coppers to break up a gathering, turns out the family's brother had gone round to a BBQ, the neighbours stuck the long pole into them... Come on!
  2. Eat when you're hungry, drink when you're dry, if you don't live to be a hundred you'll live until you die.
  3. Oven ready, perfect.
  4. My family were founder members of The Royal Standbacks.
  5. Any chance of sending a few over, lockdown n all that...
  6. Bit early in the year for a Cock, but beggars can't be choosers.
  7. Dad did his National Service, (2years?), he hadn't finished his apprenticeship before he went away so he was still on low wages when he got demobbed, mum in the meantime was earning more money than him because she'd finished her apprenticeship. Never sat well with me old man.
  8. Don't have any personal family experience of the war, my farthers farther died of TB in 1948 after doing his bit, mums dad didn't have to serve due to having pneumonicosis (sp).
  9. This time next year we'll be outside.
  10. No use knocking if no one's home.
  11. Worrying... and, he knows where I'm pulled!
  12. Late to the party again!, belated happy burfday, cocker.
  13. The BFG doesn't scare me... while we are 300 miles apart...
  14. Utilities mate, key workers. that's semi local for a breakdown/leak. Got to keep folk on supply.
  15. Needed a cold one or two this evening, van started playing up again 60 miles away from home, it got me back, but that's for another thread.
  16. Well done!, beer all over the place...
  17. That isn't good me ol' sweaty, keep away best you can. I was going to say, "stay safe, but it sounds a bit gay".
  18. You can live in a caravan or bus and claim housing benefits for it if the site owner will give you a rent book/proof of rent payments, I don't, and have no right to claim those payments, but I know a few that are doing it due to current circumstances. It's tough for some, but you are going to have to hunker down until the payments come through. Talk to your landlord about the yard rent.
  19. That's exactly how I understand it, but some folk out of the Midlands can't seem to compute this because they're as thick as a brick, (I come out of the Midlands). We will get 80% on average of our tax returns over 3 years, it's not complicated, and we've been told we will get it in June, backdated til the 1st of March. It's not difficult... unless you are a moron.
  20. No it wasn't, and well you know it, Ti.
  21. I don't dislike you, I just have a difference of opinion with you on this subject, if you don't like me it's funny that we sat for a couple of hours in the same car and chatted away for a couple of hours at one of the shows a few years back, two faced, are you Wayne? Do you really think you are going to get away with ending, let's leave it there?
  22. I've, and I'm sure a lot of others about this parish have ducked n dived over the years, but don't come around cap in hand when you think you can lay your hands on a few quid of (not so) free hand outs, we are all going to have to pay this money back. Short sighted?
  23. That pretty much says it all. You are looking at getting your dirty, grubby hands on money that you aren't entitled to, you've carried on working (which is fine), yet you think you should benefit from this virus when, up to now hasn't affected you. No better than a benefit scrounger. some folk have no shame.
  24. Yes you can, isn't it something along the lines of £95/week, or there abouts?, but you can also get your rent/mortgage interest paid? Tough times, and 'WE', not them, are all in it together this time.
  25. It's sorted b0D, I rang our kid, (used to be in the recovery trade), who rang a fella in Hatfield who put me on to a local fella, how's that work? anyway I'm back up and running. Fault codes were: MAP p0235 EGR p0404 Fuel pump requests engine stop p1563 fuel pump malfunction p1664 crank position sensor fault p0335. Total cost £0:00 It ain't what you know, it's who you know.
