  6. Hope you priced it well
  7. The back isn't strictly just ally, it has the steel uprights for the dropsides to fix to and steel plates down the sides, but the drop sides are ally and the floor is checker plate
  8. Hi there, I recently changed my truck, not mechanical reasons etc just wanted better steering lock, bit more updated looks, bit better brakes and central locking etc. Now my old truck, i changed the back on it to an alloy back, behind the cab there is space for a 19" stronghold box for tools, then there is the tipper back. Its a good truck, old 2.5 transit engine but turbo'd and its a good strong tipper. Just considering my options, 1, whether to remove the back and keep it for my new truck. 2, sell with the back on as more saleable. I weighed the truck the other week and it weighed 2150 kg, thats with me at 70 kg and then my extended sides on and a head board! so it weighs in the region of 1950kg - 2000kg 3, just keep it as its bought and paid for I must admit, i do get attatched to things and struggle to let go sometimes will put up some pics if necessary, just after some opinions

  15. Just do my saws as and when needed, blow air filters esp 200t, sharpen when necessary. Give them a wipe over when you've been working in the rain and the saws covered in wet sawdust/ or dry depending how long its been left. I do like clean airfilters when i turn up to a job, this and a sharp chain most important 200t sucks for amount of crap getting to air filter

  20. Hi all, Happy new year Looking into a log store this year, and i know there has been lots of previous threads, but i'm specifically asking about heras fencing. Panels come 3.5mtr x 2mtr high, These seem cheap and effective at 25 quid a panel, but was hoping to see what you thought about the sides being so open to the elements with it being mesh, there is nothing to stop water/rain from the sides...... Is it still a good idea? Cheers all, Chris
  21. Try not to start off on a back footing mate, a saw with problems is a pita and it will bug you. Look for a running one, you can tell sometimes that when advertised that some saws are genuine, you have to look out for them.... keep looking Haven't looked at the add yet though
  22. I've just told them there are only 3 seats in as the back ones were removed for tools
