  1. how would you retreive it though when using a false anchor, wether a cambium saver or a device..... it wouldn't feed through the krabs to catch the shackle to pull it out of the tree??
  2. For the price, they cannot really be knocked... its horses for courses and they for sure arn't a 200t, and would neither be purchased to replace one lol
  3. not sure what you mean on the last bit lol
  4. yeah i thought that... think it will just be a typing mistake, especially when it says petrol on the listing and the little box bit above..... same spec as the ama, 0.9kw and 25cc etc..... some people have been after little saws like this and i seem to remember someone testing out the ama a while back??
  5. Just spotted these cheap top handle saws bit like the ama Just thought some may be interested, these may be use once and throw away jobs lol item number: 160690819711
  6. yup thats what i thought
  7. Under cut, then top cut made outer means the branch will fall level/flat, watch out for fibres/branch tring to take saw sometimes. under cut and then top cut made in board is classed as a jump cut i think as i remember when i did the course, branch springs forwards a little when fibres break

  11. Why are the prices so high? its crazy!! Been looking on ebay at transits etc and people want like 3450 for a 52 plate transit with lots of miles on it!! Might have to keep the ldv a bit longer! Was hoping to buy a transit or iveco start of next year.... 04/05 maybe 06 but they still fetch 6k on an 06 reg. is there anywhere else to look other than ebay and autotrader?? Cheers
  12. climbing in trainers and jeans lol you would have thought they'd want to get used to saw pants and boots how they feel and grip....
  13. when do we suspect this to happen? obvioursly a rough, very rough guess lol
  14. I love my 200t with 14" bar.... can't see why you'd want anything bigger/ more numb up in the tree such as a rear handle 200. You can take a hell of a lot down with the 200t then switch to the 660
  15. Why is everyone complicating things? i use my wire core flip line with prussic loop thats it... i use both hands to shorten the line and one to make it longer lol i even have a crab at the other end of the flip line so i can use that end aswell if i want i realise there are mechanical devices out there but i'm happy as i am i was even given a petzl grillion and don't really use it
