  1. i did like the dragonfly but someone talked me out of it saying they didn't last long so went for the tree motion. i could happily just climb with a willans t22 then throw it away after the required time and buy another lol
  2. you make it sound like there is a poll lol tree motion at the moment, with backup willans t22

  4. yes, was just hoping there may be more lol anyhow, i've ordered a piston and cylinder up to do one of the 034's up
  5. Have you checked the compression with a compression tester or just by pulling it over and thinking thats ok? Take the exhaust off and check the piston
  6. Just curious, i have a 2005 200t and its a good runner, just wondering with the age etc if it would be worth doing a compression test on it and maybe fitting a fresh piston to it, seem's as though they've stopped selling the 200t? Just a thought
  7. Still looking to work with new people and new experiences
  8. any suggestions? cheers
  9. are chain brakes the same? maybe the wrap handle, side cover yes.... cant think of much else
  10. Hi there everyone, Just wondering if anyone knows if any parts are compatible? and if there's anything worth saving from X2 034's i have that may come in handy for my 361....? then i can put the 034's up on ebay for auction Cheers Chris
  11. Totally agree I'm the only person that uses my gear so know its ok
  12. I'd give the lad a good ticking off, and explain to him about how it would set back the job and costs.... he's a new lad, not on much money probabily, not aware of the world or the world of work, so doesn't know if he needs to offer to repay for the damages, nor could he probabilly afford. It'll be a good lesson learn't after a ticking off and letting the team rib him for a little bit. Is he even qualified to use a saw or just starting from the bottom? if he's just labourer/ tea boy then why would the saw being under the tree be down to him? who was the last to use it? As said, all the team should have been working together, everything should have been a bit slower possibly with a newbie about, thus why should this happen? You can't really blame the climber, as once he see's all bodies are out of the way and the groundies have cleared it, he can chop away. I'm a climber and know how hard it can be to spot saws/equiptment hidden at the base of a tree etc. Although i have worked with some other climbers that just bomb stuff out of the canopy with no regard for anyone under the tree! and treat equiptment badly..... Choose staff wisely

One other thing to bear in mind is that if that is the only job someone has in a day, surely they're going to try and push as much out of it as possible..... othere than the other person who's doing it on the way home....

150-180 i'd have thought, it'd be nice to put 240 on it but... it would only take 30-45mins max..... and that gives me time to pour a brew after

  24. i would be given the opertunity, but it seems everyone has a chainsaw in their pocket and there at the right time lol there is one tree that i walked past the other day and i can only assume that it had shed a limb then was felled...... it was felled into a farmers field, but was on the side of a road on the road side of the fence..... who's tree is it then? the councils, the farmers, or now the farmers as its in his field?
