  1. Great ground clearance on them too 👍
  2. Very handy setup that for a hell of an all rounder. Once of a day, pre botex trailer and pre teleporter. I was adamant I had to have a front loader. Now I'd be happier with front 3pl and run same as above. Seen some locally and have been considering the front 3pl and ditch loader route. To a small medium company the above setup be dog's dangles. A roof mount feeding a chipper be similar? Not sure what visibility is like going down the road with roof mount though
  3. I should look more into this egr delete in my for ranger. It has an egr cooler and I'm sure this is leaking slightly as sometimes get some good white smoke from the exhaust. Can remove egr and cooler.... That said due to shocking government and tax I may just trade in trade in a dmax etc lol 😆
  4. Story of my life with machines.... always try to do something to better something and should have left it alone lol 😆
  5. Fraid that's what I'm thinking.... Need the right niche for it
  6. What's this tractor then? See if folks think it's up to it
  7. I'd say it all depends how much a bigger tractor and heizo is per day as would most likely be a lot more productive and depend what chipper you run, the chip be worth more out of the heizo too
  8. Yes there's a lot of garbage on here at times but I just don't view it. Have you ever heard of : Don't argue with an idiot..... they will only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience 😆 Mods will delete folk if they deem necessary
  9. Crack the fuel cap open when running on a level area.... see if that works....
  10. Nice crusty terminals ey? Lol 😆 Ffs! First sign of frost and batteries are toast..... in fairness been a bit sluggish to start last month or so.... both down to 12.17v now. Will try give them a charge and put them back on but suspect it will want fresh
  11. Got this that could be sold
  12. Depends what it goes on but I wouldn't..... Just a weak spot that may seal for now bit enviably blow at some point. Balls to fixing some thing twice for the sake of a gasket
  13. swinny

    Gone mad

I've heard folk do live aboard and moorings were reasonable etc ..... check on if you can still use red diesel etc. Good luck 👍
  14. Beast of a thing this 😀
  15. Take a long time to get quarter / half inch layer of shit out the bottom though but see where your coming from
  16. Drill the bugger and tap it out and fit a bung..... Maybe even see if feasible and not compromise strength. Have a hole made in side of chassis as access. Then have a plate made up with a seal and ring of bolts round it. Bit ott I know
  17. Well aware of them two facts eggs. What you gna do about the in-between parts ? Lol 😆
  18. That looked an awesome job!!!! I must admit I should or should I say would love to ditch the tractor and botex timber trailer for a roof mount valtra setup! Look so versatile! 😍 I want!
  19. You have to do something, can't get caught with your pants down when older as what was all the effort for? It is crap when your penalised for working hard and saving when folk on benefits etc can blunder on through life and still get same state pension, health care, nursing homes and all that free. Meanwhile you have to sell your home etc and don't forget to save some money for you to have yourself buried ffs..... After all the years of tax paying the government can't afford you a send off 😮
  20. Best way I've always found on anything is to fully remove. Decant through a funnel into drums and hot power wash the tank out. Dry out and swill out with some clean diesel then re fit. New fuel lines if you can be bothered too.
  21. Put your wallet in the load carrying bit first lol 😆 you'll be fine
  22. Now that is beautiful 😍 👏
  23. What's the crack then? How do folk get forwards in life? Surely folk don't hit 40% tax barrier and give up? I do start to wonder what is the point to all this? If I earn 50k plus then pay 40% tax and then national insurance on top so 50-51% and then as a sole trader a payment on account in the middle of the year..... Going ltd doesn't look as good anymore.... your 2k a year tax free dividend is halved to 1000 next year and 500 the year after..... Capital gains.... from stocks etc will now be taxed.... You buy a house, do it up and sell it on..... after April next year your ctg allowance drops from 12300 pa to 6000 pa then to 3k pa..... Where is the incentive to bray on and get forwards? I do wonder how safe pensions are considering the recent f up they made.... I'm 33 years old and think they've got us cornered.
  24. Don't know who's going to do the jobs. Young folk don't want to graft now at all... want an easy life and a wage for **************** all.... Would I want to leave trees at 50 ? Course I would. I'd like to leave before then too..... Have you looked at the extortionate tax rate between 100-125k ? 60% this Is where maybe some of the 50's people are backing away from work. I've even read some folk not wanting promotions etc.... Capital gains tax allowance being reduced Personal allowance froze. Country's ****************ed and no wonder folk don't want to pay tax to be frittered away when they're in their 50's.... Also 35 years stamp and you've got your state pension.... you don't get extra for extra years work. Folk die to young. Why education 15-20 years work 40 then hopefully 15-20 years retired before your in your box
  25. Starting to think differently about these saws. Was considering getting one at some point as look really appealing
