  1. How does your zetor handle that trailer? How many horses?
  2. The walls on these driers have a cavity which is where the grain is stored, the open part you see in the photo is the firebox, the fan blows a gas flame into this so you dont want to be putting logs inside because you will end up with a pile of ash! You could possibly remove the outer wall and stack the timber around the inner one!
  3. Hi difflock, just to clarify, I wasn't pointing any fingers at previous comments only that the poo pooers will have a field day with this topic and I understand your point!
  4. I use mine for chicken bedding, after they have finished with it, it makes fantastic compost a year later!
  5. I think you will build a processor a lot cheaper, I would go for a circular saw blade instead of a chainsaw, will cost a fraction of the price of a saw motor alone and wont need sharpening half as much! Good luck with your project and dont worry about the negative comments you will get, no doubt someone will be along soon to warn you of CE marks, health and safety, kite marks and whatever other reason they can find to put your plan down!
  6. Do enough to give me quite a good living! Lucky enough my customers (some for 30 year's) are more interested in the contents of the bag rather than the aesthetics!!!
  7. Takes less than a minute to put the holes in the FREE bags, fail to see how this isnt cost affective !!!
  8. I just use builders dumpy bags and put loads of holes in with a hot air gun, never had any problems.
  9. Have you tried Billy Coates the hgv breakers? its amazing what they have lying around
  10. Some of the early kindling machines had a sprag clutch (one way bearing) to advance the mechanicaly driven elevator, it was a much simpler design than a hydraulic driven one!!
  11. I think you have a good idea!! I wouldnt listen too much to certain negative comments you are getting, a few on here are only too happy to knock anyone attempting something a little different, infact, I am sure they trawl the site looking for a way to have a "stab" at anyone, usually quoting health and safety! Good on you and hope it works !!
  12. Thats different, could easily be a farm loader with the boom replaced with a crane!,
  13. The arbor is the shaft size and the big collar that the blade fits onto, is this this the size you need as there is several different sizes, or the diameter of the big washer?
  14. Thats a very strong looking loader! What make is it?
  15. Go for the stove! You wont get as many draughts in your house with it as you can control the airflow unlike an open fire, you will find you will use half as much fuel too!
  16. No idea to be honest, I know some guys are working for £8 a tonne round here!
  17. Rough and hairy birch, dont think a tonnage rate would work!
  18. Just when theres naff all on the tv:biggrin:
  19. I bought a Mitox for her indoors, cracking little saw and a 2 year warranty, use it a lot myself now!
