  1. Blimey! So many questions Yeah works really well, ok for 1/2 dozen trips, the hot air gun fuses the strands together when you make the hole, I put a few holes in the bottom to avoid water, only takes a couple of minutes to do a bag, I make the holes about 10 inches apart, no mould in any of the logs yet, apart from a few sycamore!
  2. True, can't you get larger normal bags?
  3. I just use normal dumpy bags and put holes in with a hot air gun, much cheaper and works well
  4. Have you tried JW Coates the commercial breaker in Wardley, they have a website
  5. Rothbury, Northumberland, gods county:biggrin:
  6. Im really pleased you didnt Roni:biggrin:, couldnt do without it now!
  7. Thanks for the heads up! That's why I only pull about 3 tons, any play in the bearings will cause you to break a tooth (or 3)
  8. There is only about 3 ton on there, it handles it no problem, the trailer bolsters are narrow so its a bit deceiving from the angle the picture was taken from!
  9. Unfortunately not, I have the drive hubs from the cherry picker, another project maybe!
  10. Pretty much a whole year, nothing really serious though, a few bearings and winch clutches, main thing was the dreaded rust, had taken its toll with stood outside in the Oban climate, every nut and bolt had to be either cut off or heated! Been well worth the effort, fantastic little tractor.
  11. Yeah! They are ex cherry picker, rubber filled, so no punctures, a bit bouncy on the road though!
  12. This is mine, thanks to Roni Macdonald

  15. I would also be interested!
  16. I used an old silage chopper blade, your local agricultural contractor will have used ones lying around, already sharp and tough!
  17. Cordless dremel, with a diamond saw sharpening bit, brilliant!
  18. Try swapping the pipes from the grab to the rotator as you know the grab is working ok, if this doesnt work then the rotator is at fault!
  19. I ran mine with dry sand for 3 years, my friend "recycled" it , flushed out the sand with a power washer and now its heated his house for 2 years with no problem
  20. Blimey! Some folk just go on and on!!
  21. Me too please, often asked for them!
  22. Go for the Daihatsu Fieldman, proper workhorse for the money, good towing vehicle!
