Use it freehand but it has its own depth guide and angle guide!! How do you post a picture? It asks me for the url

I also use a dremel, a cordless one and diamond bits as the diameter remains the same. A couple of local professionals mocked the idea but they both have them now, the diamond bits give an edge much finer than a file therefore lasts longer.

He reckons so, he has also turned the anvil to a new edge, the timber is left with a "long tongue" on it as if the blade isnt close enough, I think he has messed around with it too much and its now way off the original settings!!

You can adjust the length of the stroke from 1000mm to 1250 (ish) by adding / removing the stops -
Any one know anything about setting up the blades on this machine? Belongs to a friend of mine but has stopped pulling the timber in (no feed rollers its that old), in fact it is more likely to chuck it back at you!, Any help would be appreciated

I would go for a kubota diesel 2 or 3 cylinder, may pay a little more but will soon get it back on the cost of red diesel over petrol and they are so economical!!

Best to use proper polytunnel covers as they have a film on the plastic that prevents dripping, the moister sticks to itself and runs down the poly!

I think the answer to your problem would be to fit the saw control valve as fitted to the Kesla and Patu stroke delimbers This valve splits a small portion of the saw motor flow to the double acting ram that controls the saw rise and fall, it is adjustable to control the speed of fall and when your control lever is pushed to rise it cuts off the oil flow to the saw motor, no blown seals! Caladonian forestry services are the agents for Kesla and are very helpful

Can you measure the diameter and pitch of the teeth, I have one here thats held on with (I think from memory) three bolts!!

Just wondered if anyone has attempted to convert a 3ton double drum igland single lever winch to remote control? Is it possible with hydraulic rams etc?

I think up to 35 litre a minute from memory, they are very reasonable

Five Star Polytunnels have a good range of tunnel covers, have used them for years, the cover on one of my tunnels is 11 years old, they give an excellent service!!
