I use an Ifor Williams plant trailer with ramp on the back, I made a platform for the front half with slots in for a pallet pump truck so only the bag is lifted and the back bag just sits on the pump truck, throw a few logs under the bag once you get them off so you can get the pump truck out, no need for pallets, I get 95% of my bags back on next delivery. You could use your beavertail in the same way.
  7. You can buy an infa red rev counter on flea bay for a few quid, you stick a piece of reflective tape on your flywheel or pulley etc and it measures the rpm, they work well!
  8. Anyone used a McConel hydraulic chainsaw? Or any other hydraulic chainsaws, any good? What sort of oil flow do they require?

  11. I have one of those, brilliant little tractors, the brakes probably only need bled, there is a bleed nipple on each side at the rear on the top of the axle tubes!

  13. Run your chainsaw down the joints in the boards, you will get enough ventilation through then!
  14. I used to get some out of the Tyne, gave up though because it was so full of silt the saws needed sharpening too often, more than every fuel fill!

  18. Cant find it! There was one ended on sunday for £310 but the guy needed it collected asap and he was the other end of the country, shame, it was just what I was looking for.
