  1. I use a cordless dremel with a diamond cutter from amazon, lasts for ages and gives a good fine edge.

  3. That sounds the biz, I thought that stokboard was about £80 a sheet, where can I buy it for £30?
  4. I am about to renew the floor on my trailer, I'm not paying the £90 odd a sheet for the proper Ifor Williams stuff, so instead, doing it in GPB ply. Anyone recommend a good preservative/treatment, I will silicone all the edges first to stop delamination.

  11. A nice looking piece Roni (still not as nice as a Holder mind ha ha) must have taken a while!
  12. I use a 25mm strip of an old silage chopper blade welded on with dissimilar rods and it works well, never needs sharpened!
  13. Chainsaw sharpening attachment very handy, make sure you get the diamond stones though, the others dont last five minutes

  17. I would fill it with water and make sure the engine blocks not cracked, quite often old tractors were just abandoned full of water and jack frost made short work of them!!!

  22. Is taking the plug lead/leads off not worth a try then??????? I have had a number of sheared/semi sheared keys on belt driven machines over the years, one exceptional example was on an Estesia brush cutter where even the variable speed belt snapped as well as a sheared key when the guy ran into a tree
  23. No, its inside the flywheel, it stops the flywheel from slipping on the crankshaft, they can twist and cause the ignition timing to be out, easy fix, just remove the flywheel and you will see if the key is twisted or bent, quite possibly even sheared completly
