    Jokes???

An old fella clatters his supermarket trolley into another as he reaches the end of an isle. Looking up, he sees he has stumbled into the path at a well honed guy in his 20s. “Why, I’m so terribly sorry”, stammered the old boy, “but it’s my wife…. I’ve looked and looked, but I can’t find her anywhere.” “Don’t sweat it”, laughed the young buck, “Turns out I’ve lost mine as well. Beats me how they manage to disappear so much, it’s getting beyond a joke”. “What would you say to us helping each other out”, suggests the old fella hopefully “What does your wife look like?" "Well, she is 24 yrs old, and tall” answers the young guy, “with blonde hair, big blue eyes, long legs, big boobs… and she's wearing tight white shorts, a halter top and no bra….What does your wife look like?" "Doesn't matter” says the old timer “let's look for yours."
  2. What, like nasty? Naaah, she was a charming old soul. I don’t reckon she ever bore an ounce of malus.
  3. Solid nose doesn’t bother me. I’m happy if you’re happy.
  4. …..alas, Solid nose. Sorry.

  6. Thick shirt, suspenders and bra… …sounds like a woman I used to meet up with at Pembroke Dock.
  7. Not a bad plan. You’ll still qualify for the shirt.
  8. Why, thank you sir. I was holding it all in specially.
  9. … Better than the gym. by spring, you’ll look like this.
  10. How do you feel about fitting yourself out with a decent axe and a chopping block?
  11. Well, maybe it helped a bit.
  12. Not if only the outside of the oak burnt. :- )
  13. I think you have your answer regarding the oak. Get a load of properly seasoned in, and season the oak properly yourself.

    Jokes???

Just had a cracking mixed grill at the pub down in the village. Apparently, when the waitress comes over and asks you "How did you find the steak, sir?", the correct response isn’t “I just moved the gammon and the eggs to one side”.
  15. Unfortunately ‘top cover’, which looked encouraging, turns out to just be a chimney blacking-off plate.
  16. For some reason, there’s something about that that reminds me of my great aunt Edith.
  17. Sorry, that last one was a Piezo crap.
  18. I actually Flintched.
  19. OK, I’ll just Swan about for a bit.
  20. No you weigh them to see if one is a little lighter.
  21. The best way to actually light the wood when using the top-down-method is by rubbing two bits of kindling together. It’s ESSENTIAL that you very carefully make sure that both bits aren’t from different types of tree. You see, as long as they are exactly the same, you’ll have a match.

  24. @adw genuine question. Do you see a time where rather than relying on the likes of Spud or Crocky to get the very best out of our saws, we’ll be sending them (or the batteries) off to whizz-kids with laptops, custom software and crafty circuit boards to do outrageous remapping mods? I kinda hope we do.
