  1. That comment was almost as intelligent as the one I got from you when I gave constructive criticism about your willow dismantle.
  2. My first car had a great self preservation tactic like that. Leaked oil from the rocker cover, ran it down the engine then blew it all over the underside of the car. It obviously didn't want to go rusty.
  3. Excellent point mate, i've known many people who were surprised that I recommended their 'reduced' Silver Birch will be prone to failure. When I say 'reduced' read 'cut in half'
  4. We've all done the odd dodgy reduction. Difference is, we know its dodgy, and dont put it on our website:001_smile:
  5. Is 'cool beans' the new Hama catchphrase?
  6. Good post. Every one of us has been in the position of putting something on here only to find others dont agree with our views or work methods. This is not a reason to stay away, but instead to join in the debate and learn from it.
  7. They do make a satisfying crunch when squashed. Bet Hama's book doesn't tell him about that.
  8. No probs mate:thumbup1: Apologies that my response to yours was rather harsh. I did feel though, that you had deliberately taken one part of what I said, out of context, and decided to argue with it. Anyway, if everyone agreed all the time, threads like this would hardly get any views.
  9. I cant quite work out which dog is supposed to be right, I hope its mine:001_tt2:
  10. We all do it. Just thought it worth a mention.
  11. As we are lecturing people, Paul your language is getting worse. We aint allowed to say whatever we like with a few *** here and there. Just thought i'd mention it as the new guys will be looking at guys like you to see whats acceptable:thumbup1:
  12. Yeh, I know exactly what you mean. I assume to post on here and use the pics on his site he must be proud of the work, indicating to us that maybe there is a lack of understanding. I'm not the worlds authority on such things, far from it, but from my point of view, if you think its wrong, then its wrong. I just think it doesn't look very nice:blushing:
  13. For £400 its definately worth it:thumbup1:
  14. Have loads round here. We call them armour plated, flying armadillos. They are quite remarkable, the grubs live in the ground for 3 years then only come out for a month or so before death, hence the other name May Bug. By the way, your hands need washing.
  15. AHHH you meant it gives you a headache wondering whether it will be viable as far as a return on investment goes. I thought so. Great minds mate:lol:
  16. Its a Cock chaffer
  17. Say it again mate and we will all pretend Gareth didn't say it.
  18. I stand corrected mate, I forgot about the throw line positioning device that makes you money every time you throw it.
  19. You said such things as 'So Its realy Lantra training with the possibility of NPTC assessment? I have never had 'pre assessment training' for any NPTC assessments' This is what I was referring to as acting dumb. If you look at the post you quoted you will see what I was actually getting at. I still think that you obviously had a reason to ask the questions. If it was to educate us about the facts regarding assesment or just to gather information, why not say so. I'm on here for a very similar reason myself, but everyone knows that. I'm not on here to argue, and neither is anyone else. Be more than happy to leave it at that. Or we can spend the rest of the day arguing about it if you would prefer:001_tongue:
  20. The ones on the one I had were silver, and I can confirm they aren't strong. Like I said, it was literally just to get into the loft so wasn't a big prob. Definately wouldn't use it for work though:thumbup1:
  21. Very diplomatic. Although you know you are in trouble when AA Teccie wades in on a 'look at my work' thread:lol: Have you seen the reduced (topped) Syc's on the site, that also have a 'natural shape'?
  22. Agree, some may say 'its gone missing' others would say 'its been stolen'.
  23. You and your brother must do everything at the same time:lol:
  24. 5 hours, call that a days work. Enjoy mate:thumbup1:
  25. You wouldn't go near an arb rope cos that would mean doing some work:001_tt2:
