  1. Hs45 is for old people to trim their privet:lol: For business card advice, keep an eye on marketing thread:thumbup1:
  2. If the smile on the kid in the last shot was any bigger, the top of his head would fall off:thumbup1:
  3. Thats why I put the LOL smilie after my post. I was JOKING.
  4. Sorry, that was a bit of a rubbish answer wasn't it. Not used to having to substantiate my opinion on this type of subject. Ill try again. With service type industries, and in particular service industries such as arb and landscaping, potential customers will generally be looking for a small local outfit as they assume they will be trustworthy and reasonably priced. 0800 numbers tend to put these type of customers off as they assume that the company is larger and therfore more expensive and less personal. There is also growing awareness that 0800 numbers can be linked to mobile numbers set up by ghost landline contracts. Meaning an 0800 could be owned by someone who 'travels', if you know what I mean. Hope this is a bit more helpful.
  5. I have several 0800 numbers for businesses I have and they work really well. However for arb and suchlike they aren't generally a good idea.
  6. Yeh sorry, forgot that. So thats holiday target positioning then.
  7. Those targets all look a bit easy to get to. Shouldn't they be right out on the ends? Forgive me if i'm wrong, I know absolutely nothing about climbings comps. Just when i've set up targets to teach other climbers, i've put them much further out.
  8. Another thought. If you are providing advice and reports you will need proffesional indemnity insurance as well as public liability.
  9. Its a minefield. Sure you will get loads of different opinions on here, but personally i'd give the work to an arb consultant. Dont know what qualifications you have mate, if you are qualified, feel free to ignore my pointless rambling.
  10. And obviously you didn't actually use the top handle anyway did you mate. Anyway, enough of the jokes. Enjoy your day mate. Wonderful thing to do for your Mrs, the stool. My Mrs would have just got a couple of breeze blocks with a jigsawed scaffold board on top.
  11. He should call him topper, after the saw he used to carve the stool:lol:
  12. Excellent news mate. Hardly time for the varnish to dry, or is the Mrs now stuck to the stool? Excellent work. Congrats on the new arrival.
  13. I agree with Rupe. A lifetime guarantee is a guarantee for life against manufacturing faults and defects. If it has been well used and has lasted well, in the opinion of a lay person, if it then falls apart, you wont be entitled to a new one.
  14. How much more profit are you expecting to make using the new truck compared to the old one mate?
  15. In my proffesional, qualified and highly experienced opinion. Theocus is right, semi- naked women are the answer.
  16. Thats what you get for asking a question on here mate. Half the people who reply usually hate whatever it is, half love it, and whoever asked the question ends up none the wiser. What do you think of it mate? You used it for a job yet?
  17. This thread was all over a month or so ago. DILLIGAF seems a strange thing to say if what I said has been eating away at you for a month. Time to get over it I think. If you have read many of my posts you will know I dont argue or post criticism on here for no reason. If I see a vid which is good, I say so, if I see a vid where I think it could have been done better, I say that too. Nothing I said was personal, I didn't even know you were the climber. I think my last post on the subject was well balanced, yes I said it wasn't perfect but look at the end part of the post, it wasn't just pointless criticism was it. When I was doing tree work, I didn't video myself working. So, sorry cant post anything to criticise i'm afraid.
  18. I had an R53s, it was ok. Its an amateur machine though, wont last long if you work it hard. How much are they now?
  19. Another cryptic clue as a post. Care to expand on it?
  20. Cool, hope you get some takers.
  21. Thanks for that. And why should we use your chipping service rather than spending one days money on financing our own, that we could then use all month. Not having a go, its a serious question. And one i'm sure you have a well rehearsed answer to.
  22. Nice one mate:thumbup1:
  23. I got his leg and wrapped it round his head, love it. Reckon I could take him in an arm wrestle though, well i could if his arms didn't weigh more than I do.
  24. He'll loan it to ya, as long as you are waving 350 quid at him.
  25. Does your day rate include taking away all the chip generated during that day mate?
