  1. They might have been 16% on the outside but if you split it again and measured in the middle it would have been higher Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Or get a new pressure switch from machine mart and have 2 working compressors Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. May well become a price war Looks like an interesting book I guess from the age it is well out of copyright protection so could be scanned/photographed and cleaned up digitally then put into PDF format if enough free time was found to do it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. I took a holly in the garden at home down to knee level but didn't get around to roping and yanking the roots and stump out and it has grown back with a vengeance Take it to whatever height they want it will come back and just look odd for a while Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. What area of the country You might find someone willing to clear it but I doubt you will get paid for pop Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  7. Will give him a bell Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. If you didn't have the problem before the new chain then the new chain must be the problem Compare it to your old one as you may have a 325 and 3/8 mismatch somewhere which would lead to them coming off Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Looks like it is worth a trek down Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Does that also mean if I take my kit into somewhere local for testing and they pass it that if the guy inspecting it is not specifically qualified in inspecting arb gear that it is pointless getting it done by them as the yes it has passed inspection wouldn't be worth the paper it was written on if hse looked at it in detail Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Good point didn't look that far into it Probably not will have to have another look Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. Anyone do there own testing or do you have someone else do it I always check my kit over very keenly but was just doing a bit of googling and found an online loler course by inspired training Anyone done it or used them seems very cheap at less than £20 but I guess would prove competence in inspecting own kit if passed Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  13. Try to support local where I can but after trying to charge me £4.60 for a spark plug when I can get a box of 10 online for £10 - £16 depending upon make they can go and jump Now I just keep a few bits and pieces on the shelf and have enough saws that if one plays up its not a problem I just use a different one order the bits online and fix when I get round to it Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. If you haven't got rid of it all pm me and I can come and get the rest Would have replied straight away but in Wales at the moment should be back home late Saturday afternoon so can come then or Monday if it is still left If not no worries will have to be a bit quicker next time any is available that close to home Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. I would hope most pro users could spot a fake easily A dodgy stihl I hope I could spot fairly quickly but not familiar enough with huskies so would avoid Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. 123-reg is who I use for registering and hosting Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Biggest problem with a defender would be the defender fairies making it vanish in the night Get a tracker and as many other security devices as you can when you do find one for your budget otherwise you will spend a fortune on it only for some scum to relieve you of it one night
  18. Have a look at Tree Stuff - Working Climber Series One, Two & Three they have the full 3 series set for around £155 after currency conversion and fedex and 5% discount for using coupon code ARBORIST during checkout which even if you get an extra lump from customs on the way still works out slightly cheaper than UK prices and the series 3 set isnt available in the UK yet by the look of it anyway Dave
  19. Have just been on the phone with Stihl uk technical line about something else and asked them about this whilst i was on Given that a Stihl chainsaw has a worldwide warranty it follows that all parts even for non uk market saws should be available from your dealer through stihl uk in the event of a warranty issue this also applies to spares and has just been confirmed by the guy on the other end of the phone You need to go into Adamsons or whoever you use locally with the part number and they need to FAX the order to stihl uk as because it is a non uk market saw the part number will not be on the system for them to order Stihl will then check stock with germany and if it is available will then put the part number on for them to be able to order as normal and get the part ordered Or that was the general gist of the conversation anyway but anyparts you need whether a uk market saw or not should be available from your local dealer through stihl uk from germany:thumbup: Dave
  20. Duff spark plug or coil

  23. will take quite a bit to stitch them up I guess from looking at the pics that they would repair if you where patient enough and they where cheap enough Bit to much effort for my needle abilities
  24. I did spend a while looking through old posts first and am aware that everyone will have a different opinion but i hadn't considered the husky ones so will shortly go and get my husky catalogue to have a look at them I was pretty much down to either the stretch airs or the hi flex but if loads of people posted and said dont get these they fall to bits that may have helped influence my decision will be going out in the morning to have a look and see what is available locally then make a decision - any help or opinions given before hand welcome
