  1. Nearest dealer to me wanted £610 inc vat for a ms200. F.r.jones sold me one for £358 not inc vat, over the internet, delivered in 2 days, dont think youll beat them.

  4. HEAR,HEAR!!! Not once have i heard the opinions of the local people who live (& pay their taxes) near this site,or maybe for some reason they darnt voice their opinion.
  5. Most of us know that these are scams and delete , but sometimes they get lucky, when i was contracting for british waterways they had a yardman who had shall we say "learning difficulties", but not a bad lad and always happy to do the jobs that the other lads didnt want to do. They made him redundant in 2006 and he recieved £24,000 in redundancy, within 6 months he had lost the lot to one of these scams.
  6. SPOT ON! I moved into my council house in 1990,bought it in 1994, everyone near me had a gun or ferret, and used the pubs, out of 20 house down my lane i am the only person to go to the pub and own a shotgun. This dosnt make them bad people obviously, just not country people. They dont use the local shops because theres always sainsburys vans etc delivering their shopping.
  7. Quite simply if we dont use our village pub , it will close. Village pubs have been up against it since the late 60s, drink driving, loss of jobs i.e farming, council house sales, cheap supermarket booze, better television and high rent.
  8. In my village we had 3 pubs for years & years, we now have 1 ,one is closed and the other is an indian. Heres my theory as to why village pubs are closing: Villages were always mainly inhabited by working class people and the pub was a major part of their lives, when the council houses were sold and the people who bought them died or sold and moved away , yuppie types moved in, these type of people do not go to the pub every day.
  9. Green relentless
  10. on his feedback he sold a hayter catalogue,so who knows, this may sell. Are you guys thinking what i am?
  11. I used to work i n in iver , outside london, loads of "T" camps, cant say the exact word, might get deleted. Got to know a policeman in the area, he said to me that when these lovely people fill up there transits at the petrol station and drive off without paying we (the police) do nothing as it could cost as much money to find the owner of the vehicle as it would on some murders . please take note, I did not swear.
  12. .....
  13. And if it was on a television programme then it must be true because the makers of these programmes never stage manage anything do they? perhaps all they found were some pegs & lucky heather
  14. Tony martin for prime minister, the sun had a whipround for him when he was wrongly imprisoned, i donated a small amount which is one thing in my life i will never regret.
  15. Very funny, but sadly true. Glad your daughters got her bike back elfin:thumbup:
  16. After a few years of splitting wood for logs , ive come to the conclusion that well seasoned rings of knotty ash are just about the hardest to split with my petrol powered splitter..........unless someone knows better?
  17. Freeze your sloes ,then let them thaw before adding them to your gin. 1 part sugar, 1 part sloes , 2 parts gin.
  18. Isnt that the model that columbo used to drive ?
  19. Great bit of kit,but how would you get it out of the woods if it broke down & needed towing out?
  20. And most of them live in iver , just up the road,to be precise mansion lane if im not mistaken.
  21. Now i see it, thats a serious bit of kit youv got there mate.
  22. John are we looking at the loader or the 360
  23. Come off it, kids dont sing hymns in the playground. They may have done 100 years ago. We are talking about them being sung in assembly.
  24. I have 5 kids, in my area we have primary school, middle, upper. Only at primary school do they sing hymns
  25. My opinion from my experiences, so its not nonsence. Its my opinion. Just an example: farmer friend of mine was plagued with flytippers, one day he came across an empty transit pickup which had shed its crap in his field and got stuck. He phoned the police and the reply was "Its on private land, nothing we can do "When he said he was going to crush it with his jcb the reply was "do that and we will arrest you". Everything hama quoted is not just his opinion, but fact.
