  7. DMB hire(formerly arbplant) based in ship lake, inbetween reading and henly, do stumpgrinders,chippers and mewps, or try bloomfield hatch tree care,he rents out his mewp cheaper, glyn davies!
  8. we seem to disagree again,,my lt40 cuts perfectly well and all be it only 28" cut,,works a treat,,,has paid for itself over and over,,,did check out hudson first and had a demo,,,in fact guy who gave it took the head off the mobile unit and made his own bed,,so on that point its probably just as good! and like you say possible longer cut,,but i rarely get asked for 18` beams and over,,all in all my lt40 has been great,and cuts just about everything I need,,now with the addition of a 48" alaskan,,,got it all covered,,,

  14. if you want a hand made log basket then expect to pay £50 odd,,there hand made and not inported from china using slave labour,,,and they will last, i used to make them, about £45 each I`d charge, and could make three a day,willow from somerset cost me £9 each basket,,so if you take out all true costs,,the customer wins,,,buy british hand made every day,,,and support local crafts,,I now make them for fun as and when I choose,,,

  16. yes had it eyed up for a bit,lol,,missed a nail in the bottom by an inch too,,lucky lucky,,,
  17. a few more,got eight 2" planks from it, 130" long...
