if you want a hand made log basket then expect to pay £50 odd,,there hand made and not inported from china using slave labour,,,and they will last, i used to make them, about £45 each I`d charge, and could make three a day,willow from somerset cost me £9 each basket,,so if you take out all true costs,,the customer wins,,,buy british hand made every day,,,and support local crafts,,I now make them for fun as and when I choose,,,

you`ll find like myself,when you finally save up for an item like this its so worth it,when i was an apprentice id get one item a month,so a 30" alaskan is a great start, i got mine to break down big trees ready to go on my woodmizer, have fun,

just bought a 880 and an alaskan 48",,total cost= £1400..you may need to save a little longer....
