I have just taken over a bigger workshop,sharing it with a builder ,who wants to store some stuff, and a landscape gardener,so now have more space,and shares the cost, like tommer says the metabo brand is good, I have there sander and jigsaw,,they get some grunt and just keep going! I`ll post some pics when its working,,can plane 24"x 9" (in theory lol)
  3. Bought this today, hasnt been used for two yrs, got condemmed for not having a brake!? going to restore it too its prime,,,will supplement my 10"x6" robinson..

  5. nice bit of timber,,,I` try to mill lots of different sizes, so to cover most needs, most sycamore goes to furniture makers,or turners,,,price varies on timber colouring,,cabinet makers and box makers like it for the woods stability when dry,,,
  6. had my 54 plate since almost new,,no probs,,great work horse.....

  12. we use a gravely pro chip 9",,eats most things, but i log anything over 4" anyway,,,just dont have to sned so much,as when we rent a jenson 6" tracked,,notice the difference, but it is weighty,,,,

  14. couple more showing the double rebated frame,for sign and ply mounting board. made four up in total.
  15. made these up out of a tree from wokingham,going to a hampshire nature reserve.

  17. the concrete has stainless steel rods in it going up into the posts, with a polycabonate washer to stop damp coming up through the concrete,ie damp proof cause, The missing slab is having something engraved in it, as its a memorial arbour, for a local person who died,and walked round the park, think her ashes are getting scattered under the slab,,,nice!
