  2. shall try that move out later tonight:thumbup1:
  3. Some mates:sneaky2: lol Look after yourself! After all is said & done healing slower & stronger will make you stronger when age kicks in!
  4. Norfolk! Plenty of people you mite want to stop climbing over your fence I guess. Should have sharpened the ends up a little imo:evil: Thought that counts. Defo right about the swaying of people into eco stumps though. Nice thought & work:thumbup1:
  5. Do you think it took some cold war advice of duck & cover! worked in this case! Lucky little thing! Ace pics.
  6. I realy like the 4 seats in the back on this cab which is what made it stand out for me among others, as well as the capacity & torque it had. Looking fwd to getting one.
  7. Yer the bloke I know who got one say it towed a 20ft chroma caravan real well & up hills he was proper impresed with the torque it had. He says he can get 40 to the gallon if he keeps it in the green band (not loaded). Have you found that to? Lots better than my landy if so.
  8. after 10yrs! not that bad then imo:thumbup1:
  9. Got to love the birds & that especialy this time of year. Spot on eye & find
  10. Breath calm to settle the movement on your rib cage. Sure you have worked that one out for yourself though:001_rolleyes: Shorter pulls on your assent should also help though. Basic's of it less is more & if you can get somone else to climb, all the better. Rest up a bit if you can mate coz the healing can take long enough as it is & if not a proper job you may find they give you gip in the winter. Alternativly man up & get on with it:lol:
  11. Any one got one? I have been impresed with one I have worked with & am looking to buy one. Has any one had or got one of these? If so what do you like & dislike about them? If anyone has one for sale also if you can post or pm the info & any photo's of site link I would like to take a look. Ta much for time.
  12. Have you got a treeboat? I spent 5 wks in one in a bluebell carpet wood & found the life I observed from just 3m off of the ground was just magical. ( few hrs after my pit fire had gone out though:001_smile: ) Great way to get right in the center of it all though, & keep dry on not so good british summer days..
  13. Was known as the gypsy tree in some places due to its abundance of fruit & use to nomadic people. The leafs are best eaten early & the berrys in an infusion are ment to be benifitial to heart probs such as angina.
  14. Spot on & full of good info as always from your vids Reg.
  15. ride down the fiber buckles as they go with a few well placed jumps
  16. moved to the knunt with hitch climber 8mm cord on 12mm line. Mutts nuts IMO. got fed up with the jerk moves of the LJ on wet rope over winter!
  17. Look it's spec up online & read some of it's props. I think you mite find some impresive on compare to other lines out their at the mo. Up to you to make your mind up from what you read though. I have read & also had the fortune of working with people who have used the line ( non ce marked) & all have been impresed with it's performance. Lines work well in different ways for different people & their style of climbing. Each to their own.
  18. Nice one Nod. Ta much for all your hard work! I will be visiting your stand on the Arb day in june & buying a poison ivy rope from you. Will you have your splice crew on hand to give the mutts nuts line the final touch?
  19. My trees of life are simple but ever growing. My picture is simple. My life is simple. My thoughts are simple & my spirit is vast! Loookin to the ways our ansestors shows us our ways in times when the path is muddy!
  20. Look fwd to results Hama:thumbup1: Sure it will take time as with all things we throw out their. Just the sort of stuff that can't fail to blow the mind with it,s complexity & ability to supprise at every new descovery. Far beyond my relms but always an interest in these forrms that have such influance in all our lifes..
  21. Crown clean & thats all I would do. She not going to live their for alot longer from what you say. It looks like a beutiful tree from the pic's & a fine plant to have at the bottom of the garden. If light is an issue then a light thin & lift along with crown clean. We all know of the response growth to heavy pruning..
  22. Prob not understood your trail of thought on this post which I'm sure is not a suprise:confused1: But it lead me to thinking of a Ted Green talk I listened to & a point he made about fungi always present in trees with various actions to perform at times when needed. I'm sure this relationship is out their for us all to see in past & presant forms. Always amaizing the paths we find in nature. Sorry if I'm compleatly off track..
  23. 3 yrs with the same line 'zing it' stuck many times:blushing: pulled over trees & hung my body weight on it to retrive it from sticky situations. Top line imo with an 8oz weight on my throwing end & a 12oz weight on the other.
