1. The dormice friendly hoppers have a little flap in the entrance which is too heavy for them to lift and gain access but squirrels can still get in, fenn mk4 spring traps in boxes are very efficent way to get rid of alot of greys.

10. Yep that sounds like Natwests "helpful banking"! took the business account off them years ago, but I'm still fighting with them over numerous issues regarding interest, charges etc on my personal account I had with them.
11.
I can ask him tomorrow don't think he's over keen on the Greenmechs I know he was debating between the Timberwolf and the Tp

12. Would'nt touch Natwest with someone elses they will screw you 7 ways from sunday and continue to deny any wrong doing despite any evidence you provide to the contrary
13. Only recently found out about the end of april rule myself, always used to finish 1st march same as for flailing, although I did once lay one in may on a domestic job. Always started beginning of september as used to have more than I could do in a season anyway so would make a n early start, last year was first time in 23 years didnt lay a single hedge
14. OK slightly badly phrased on my part, they are more aware nowadays I think due to them having to show their eco credentials, ripping out of standing trees with diggers is a big no no for most of them now, they have to be felled and dealt with by an arborist and or inspected by an ecologist first.
15. This is the one on youtube
16. Yep certainly do and laurel or conifers are pia as they waft away with the breeze from the rotor so its a nightmare trying to get a good finish on them.

19. Not sure who the boss has got it off, not tried it myself yet but he asked me if I could get some opinions on it as he's looking at replacing one of the jensons, we've got a tractor mounted tp already which is a good machine.
20. The building trade or the powers that be have become aware of bird nesting being 1st march - 31st August which has caused us some headaches this year on site clearance work, but have got round it by either having an ecologist on site or visual inspection of trees/shrubs for nesting birds as we work through and marking off areas where birds are nesting with barrier tape and leaving those areas until they have finished nesting.
21. Got one on demo at work, just wondered if anyone else has one or has tried one and your thoughts/opinions. Ta

25. Pretty much what I'd do, think this is one of those situations where the climbers will say climb it and rig, whilst us groundies and foresters will say take it out from the ground as its simpler and quicker and theres nothing that can be seriously damaged.
