Thanks for the advice guys, I've only recently moved onto newer technology, currently using wifes old Nokia N8, only got that because I shut my samsung solid in the bootlid of the car after changing into my chainsaw trousers and smashed the screen I shall have a browse on the Orange website before I ring them and see whats available

  6. Good stuff burns nice and hot, can be awkward to split the gnarly bits but otherwise easy enough to split while green.

Pretty much what I was going to say, I'm all for planting more trees, the deforestation of the uplands and other areas, removal of hedges etc was mostly carried out during WW2 to increase food production to stop the country from starving, everyone seems to forget we are an island when they start farmer bashing, the idea of agroforestry has been floated again recently allowing you to get two crops from the same ground and would also help with the water problem, although a quicker solution would be to stop concreting and tarmaccing everywhere creating water catchment areas where there is not sufficent drainage.

Just by coincidence been looking at RFS level 2, as I'm interested in progressing in some area of tree work, have worked in treework/forestry on and off over the years but only full time for the last year, I'm not the most academic person so just wondered how involved it is as its 20 years since I went to college

  19. Spotted a few trees where we've been working recently that are starting to bud, put it down to this swapping between warm and cold weather recently has confused them

It all depends on the wording in the t's and c's I have already managed to reclaim some off Natwest due to the wording in their terms not covering self employed although they were fully aware that I was when I took it out, trying to get Lloyds to cough up the relevant paperwork for me to look at at present.
