  1. And I'll be up for that. Wrexham is an hour from me. For once something local ish!
  2. Do I ever? Hehe I know there's a couple of dryadeus oaks at croft, along the track on the way in. Even if there's a couple of local ones to you, if I can get 10 altogether I will be well on the way to being happy, as I know it's a limitation of the project.
  3. I'd say 7, but too much thinned out IMO! Easily more than half the material gone from the crown.
  4. All of those are perfect! I'll be making a southern trip soon, I'll be tackling Dunham Massey, croft, windsor and other southern areas in the coming weeks. Lots of data to collect! If you Know of 4 or 5 of each ill be a happy bunny!
  5. Tony can you get to the oak with I. Dryadeus easily? It will make a good control tree!

I've got a griffin sleeve I bought but couldn't get on with. £30 new. £12.50 inc postage and it's yours! It's pretty much
  7. Because it was done with a stihl
  8. One of our guys founded a loaded handgun on site in Manchester last week. Reported it to the police and apparently the two coppers that turned up were gutted that the armed boys had to be called in to deal with it!
  9. Some editing of a photo I had in the files.
  10. Didn't think there was anything wrong with mine though
  11. For some reason, just seeing the image just made me think of you! Don't know why. Maybe it was that massive conifer you had a video of yourself doing?
  12. Save the money and get some good quality cleaning stuff for it, anything by auto glym. Get a clay stick and use that. Or find a car detailing company an get them to do it. Would look good when it's done.
  13. Yep that's a HC! The bark is the orange/brown that's characteristic and the correct thickness on the branches. Certainly ain't no beech. If it is then the literature has some 'splainin to do!
  14. The saw in the OP is clearly a Chinese cheap quality saw, and is designed with very little in the way of proper safety features that actually work effectively, if at all! Proper stihl saws have all the safety features built in, it's the user that makes them dangerous, but the Chinese ones are just terrible IMO.
  15. The disclaimer he put up is probably because of my doing. I sent him a message. I now notice that it seems I was seeing red a bit. I just don't agree with people selling these. Mainly for safety reasons!
  16. Another one on there. This guy is selling a 044 and this counterfeit piece of turd! eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace Report it please! I've already done so. Was also thinking a million pound bid...
  17. i concur with rob s, the cs100 greenmech is a brilliant little chipper!
  18. is that mark bolam on the right? i got 14! uh oh
  19. I Agree, lots of things can cause some nasty injuries and worse! I too have been hit by falling objects, however it has only been little twigs during a reduction, cueing the all important over dramatic reaction! I make sure I'm well out of the way of big stuff!
  20. Bad workman blames his tools and all that Here's mine from last week
  21. I don't use the padding, I just use the sawpod straps through the sugoi holes and it works fine. The silky Velcro straps have a habit of the plastic ring twisting.
  22. i can remember yesterday, so no!
  23. now theres an idea! id best get bodging.
  24. where can i buy an electricitree from? im dreading having to get my own place, i have no issue with moving out and finding somewhere, but its the companies you have to deal with that will make life a general PAIN!
