I'm in st helens and have 8 cube ready to burn sat in 1 cube cages. I can deliver them in the cage 6 at a time. If you keep the cages its £25 deposit per cage but if you dont keep the cages you dont pay the £25. Also if you keep them till they are empty then you get the £25 back when we get the cage back. £100 per cube/cage delivered to your door

Sell or give to a farmer with a muck spreader and dump it on his muck pile. It will then get spread finely over the fields. We plan to do that with ours!

As said in another thread, it seems to be the time where technology is outraging the law, tractors are made with 50k boxes and I know a contractor who pulls an 8t spreader behind a low loader trailer with a bobcat on, does it often, all at 50k and has no problems. Even tractors with 40k boxes are still over 20mph when flat out, normal ag tyres they hit 25/6mph and turf tyres on ours makes it 23/4, the 50k hitting 33/4, which really does take some stopping on a downhill! Our 6330 is plated at 32t max towing, but rarely comes close to towing a quarter of that, it doesn't like an empty 18t trailer weighing 6t empty. Although it will still pull the above mentioned two trailers fine! Trailers are built with air and hydraulic suspension now, some are adapted from wagons, so why wouldn't a new trailer with Hgv spec brakes be safe with a tractor capable of pulling it and supplying the brakes well with air and hydraulics?

2.5tdi engine, the one that blows it's con rods sideways at 70-80k! It mainly has to pull itself with an 800ltr tank of water with steel frame and boom, easily a ton altogether when full. I've not driven it yet ive only been told, but it struggles to 50 and used to be fine to 60 and 70 when full I would, but I've still got another year in uni so don't have time to earn the money to commit on a vehicle that will sit there most of the time, using one that is multi purpose saves money, yeah it might get a bit awkward when it's needed by both, it's currently a backup truck and Doesn't see huge amounts of use, I/we would rather have one truck taking up space fuel and insurance than two getting half used I'm even happy for the Nissan as it is, trailer and chipper is 400kg, then chip in the back to haul along, if we sort that I'd be happy driving that. The newly made box can be adjusted accordingly!

Well looks like we may be getting a 110 in the near future, the Nissan we put a new engine in funded by my old hilux has something wrong, we think it's an ancillary or injector somewhere as it's gutless and won't pull you out of bed! We were thinking sell that then buy a landy with what we can get together and build a very simple to remove spraying system, with rear booms instead of front ones. Would be a 110 as it seems to cope well with the weight like the one we've got now, I could try and find a tipper that we could do this to! That would cover all the bases.

whats to look for when buying a landy? im starting to think it might be an idea to get one and sell my little french rocket!

I am after two good CSCS climbers, 5 trees are being removed and the job is to be done in a day, the day is a sunday, which one is yet to be decided. It will be before the 27th june. All you need is your kit and a CSCS card for being on site, some lowering involved as there are a few obstacles to be avoided and one wire in the most awkward place! I use both xtc and poison ivy, love both ropes. Poison ivy feels the same thickness but is a lot lighter!

The fields are use by horses and a paddock in regular use which already had a part of another tree fall into last week. There is a path used by the landowner and other people right under it. Well it was going to be a few metre stick as we would have climbed it but decided just to fell it. Left a nice little habitat pile at the base instead. They were happy!

Had this today to kill, original plan was to leave habitat stick but plan changed to a fell. Was down by 12.30 took a lot of thinking and planning. I was hanging on a pull line while Ed (armchairarborist) did the very sketchy fell. Would have videod it but there was only us 2 on site. Was a very messy tree! Let's hope Ed puts his share of the pics on here too! Pics are in no real order.

Gaff guards can be bought from our well known suppliers. I've had a couple of sets.

I'm happy with my gelert. Had that nearly a year and it's just dirty, still looks good and gets thrown round too. My silver bull one had stitching come out but sorted it with a zip tie and it's still useable as a rucksack
